I actually think the movie itself is overhyped. The story and most of the characters are blant, nothing original and none of the actors are giving "career best" performances imo (like I've read multiple times) but the visuals and the atmosphere (+ the music) is stunningly overwhelming. It's a big movie made for the biggest possible screen. It was fun watching it there. So yeah despite the flaws I liked it I also think it was better than part 1.

^People and critics seemed to like this "modern" take on Bond. So it looks like you're in the minority here. The next Bond might be different but in no world sexist ever again. Those times are over. If a character wants to live on in other times he or she has to adapt. Simple as that. If that's always a good thing might be another question. Maybe some things from the past should just stay in the past.

He was the only one who made the characters actions tolerable for me (especially when it comes to women). I couldn't go through any other Bond movie without bleeding ears because of the dumb sexists comments of this character.

Watched it back then in cinema. Couldn't remember much but still liked it despite the terrible reviews
