VSFS14 casting didn't happen until Oct of last year. Right now, they're just working with the fit models. The only girls who don't have to attend castings are Angels (and maybe a contract girl, although I don't think they have any of those left now.) Everyone else will have to wait until Oct/Nov to see if they're in the show.

The reason that this is getting so much coverage is because people are demanding it. Caitlyn is giving interviews and speaking out because it gives her a sense of control. She is, like it or not, a celebrity, and had she tried to transition quietly and privately, she would have been hounded and harassed. Hell, she was. Before she came out and confirmed her transition, magazines were photoshopping her onto different bodies and trying to spin false stories. The way she is handling it now is out of necessity. And maybe Jac wasn't intending to be malicious or disrespectful, but at the end of the day, she said something inappropriate, and was called out on it, and then didn't apologize for her mistake. There was no remorse.

Sigh. God forbid someone shares a less popular opinion.It being popular or not doesn't change that fact that the opinion is transphobic. If someone had said "I hate gays" the comment is homophobic. God forbid we actually respect someone's life choices. The horror!!!!!

Her name is Caitlyn, not Bruce. The Fat Jewish is this guy who managed to make a career out of posting stolen "funny" images on Instagram. He's got 4.5 mil followers, and invitation to fashion events apparently. I want that career.

I've never seen it either, and looking back on the past couple pages it didn't stand out to me in any of those pictures. I can see the Candice, but Bregje's features are so harsh to me, I'm not seeing it at all in Romee.

My friend sent me the tweet. Her disdain for Caitlyn's media attention and refusal to use her name are both extremely iffy to me. Not that impressed.

She was 4/5 years ahead of me, so I doubt we even had the same teachers. I have some friends in that graduating class though, so I'm going to ask around the next time I visit, and see if anyone knew her!

No, I agree. There hasn't been a lot of VS with any of the models lately, at least that's what I've noticed. It's been a handful of pictures at a time. We know Elsa shot for them a lot in the last couple months, so I'm sure that's all coming out quite soon. I know for sure that the swim shoot they just did in Tulum comes out in July.
