^ I was just coming here to post this. Love it!

  8. Me too Bari. Me too!! She has such an eccentric screen presence, she would be lovely. But I'm willing to give Margot a chance!
  9. It's nice to have someone that matches 'the look' but at the same time, it's not all that important. Jordan Belfort looks absolutely nothing like Leo. Whoever is casted might have to have their hair dyed blonde and dress like the real Nadine but they don't actually have to resemble her. I think Margot will work because I can see her giving off a charismatic appeal and she can easily pull off a 22 year old blonde model, but just saying... if it's a pretty girl who can rock the blonde decently and looks the age, I think many girls could then "look the part" to play Nadine, it comes down to the acting. Again, never seen Margot act, but I'm just putting all my eggs in the 'I have faith in Martin Scorsese' basket added note; Belfort reminds me of jonathan rhys meyers, anyone else see this?!

I love how her bikini candids look like they could very well be candids on set from a VS shoot she's beautiful. and I love how the hot pink looks on her.

The Grey was one of my favorite movies of the year so far. It's surreal, and SO so good.

^ I agree. Although we might be attacked for pointing this out. or be greeted with responses of "everyone is photoshopped", yes and when they are it is pointed out. This "certain area" looks drastically different in the final product and the behind the scene shoot. I also don't think the editorial does her justice because the cover is pretty fantastic, especially as far as her face goes. IT feels like a lack luster job with the editorial, I wish they did less generic shots of her and it was more eccentric. To me, the shoot didn't seem like a shoot they would do for someone that was on the cover, instead it seemed like a random editorial in the magazine. I wish they would have had someone other than Terry R shoot her.
  13. this argument, or debate rather is silly. We will never know whether it's leo, that crazy and demanding son of a gun who forces all of his girlfriends to go biking with him, or if they genuinely want to. In all seriousness, how can we make comments about that in more than a joking fashion one way or another? No one on here personally knows Leo, it's all perception, assumptions, and opinion. Who knows, maybe he likes his GFs doing what he likes and also entertains what they like, maybe he baked cookies with blake indoors ...or maybe he just suggests going bike riding and doing the same things with his girlfriends, and they don't object? shocking.
  14. Margot is a great pick in terms of just looks alone, I've never seen her acting but I have no doubt Scorsese casted her wisely, I'm sure she won't disappoint. I have to say though, she was born in 1990? She does not look that young to me.

  17. I know about the 'dither' setting, and also know to uncheck the merging of palletes (I think it's called palletes) but I guess the thing is..I see gifs on tumblr that are clear as can be and when I make them with the software I have, they're clear while I play the gif within the software but after I save and upload it, poor quality. I've read what you've said about the colors though. Its tricky because if I make an animation, and then export each slide as an image individually, and then upload it on some online gif animators...the gif turns out more clear. Thanks for all the info though donbot. I've just heard the settings for photoshop cs5 allow for much clearer gifs, maybe I'm misinformed.

This entire season has had to do with the way that Don sees himself and him growing as a person and figuring out what he wants. He has such a love/hate relationship with the advertising business. At times you can tell how passionate he is about certain aspects of Advertising. But I think he thrives on being able to do his job well, opposed to actually like the job. He likes to win, I loved the episodes where we saw the conflict between Draper and Ginsberg, in terms of Don feeling that he had to prove something with his pitch being the best. I also think he's just wanted to be a better man, especially when it came to Megan. Her youth brought out a different side of Don, but he's so afraid of losing her because he thinks he'll lose the new sense of goodness (or whatever it may be) that he has found. Which is why through out several episodes we saw yet another side of Don that we didn't see before, him chasing Megan around the house needing her forgiveness, their fights, what happened at the diner scene... he is so much more emotionally invested with Megan because he ties succeeding in the marriage with her to succeeding in being the person he's struggling or aspiring to be. I think he had such a problem with Megan trying to be an actress/do broadway because he feels that a woman depending on him gives him a sense of security, as far as her sticking around and being as available goes. That wasn't uncommon of men back then, nor is it uncommon of men in present day. But I think he is afraid of Megan being so invested in something other than him, that with the lack of her attention or the lack of her presence, he might resort to his old ways. I think the poster for the season symbolizes just that, his struggle and fear of returning back to his old ways vs. moving forward as he is. But I think the mannequin without clothes is just a random girl that he would probably would have slept with in the past. I think Megan quitting the firm, started Don's insecurity of how things will end up with Megan, and in essence the way he sees himself. With her starting to act, by the end of the season you could see Don's assurance in himself and his marriage start to dwindle as the sense of security (for him, in his perception) started to dwindle. (All of this is just my perception!) On a side note, I think Don has a negative perception of liberals. At least liberal hippie types (as we've seen in past seasons) but I think he doesn't have too much of a direct appreciation for the arts. Even the art of acting. While I was watching the finale I couldn't notice the scene below in the Gif He kisses Megan, then he looks at her all Don-like, and then it goes back to Megan, and then when it comes back to Don that last time (in the gif) you can see the look of judgment, criticism, and dismay in his face. It's almost as though he looks down at her for wanting to even participate in commercials (maybe this has to do with his job as well), but it's almost as if he's slightly disgusted . Do you guys think he will end up cheating? How will the next season start? I hate/love these Mad Men cliffhangers. First it was will Don actually marry Megan? And he does. Is he going to cheat? I think that he won't, but at some point in the next season he will. I think it'll take one more push or nudge of him feeling that Megan is drifting apart for him to go back to the old Draper.

Regardless of how I feel about her, she landed that US GQ cover pretty quickly. The SI cover already did wonders for her (even though IMO that cover was horrible. There were regular SI shots of her that were better) but a US GQ cover isn't going to hurt either. At least the cover is 100x more flattering than the SI one.

Absolutely STUNNING So often I see candids of Karlie like this one: and I just find her face to be annoying, but when I see her editorial work. She is amazing! I think she should stick to HF because I really can't find the appeal of her within VS, but at the same time...a lot of people think opposite of me and loved her at the VSFS and love her work for VS Pink.
  22. I might have to download photoshop CS, even though it is expensive! I currently have a gif animation software, it cost me about $30-40, it is very easy to use and the gifs are GREAT until I save the actual Gif, then the quality is grainy and there's random marks over certain parts of the gif. It is pretty damn annoying.
