  1. have you looked at the Comics for both before? The invincible comic is very good, overall better than the Boys in quality. But I enjoy the Boys more. The Boys is the only superhero stuff I'm into, mainly because it poops on the genre lol.
  2. Approx. 265 Ukrainian troops surrendered at Azovstal yesterday, if the Ukr claims are accurate there are 600 (?) men left. The commander of Regiment Azov put a message on social media saying that the Ukrainian resistance has fulfilled their duty to Ukraine, implicitly saying that it's time for the rest to surrender. The Battle of Mariupol is coming to an end. According to the Pentagon, the Russians only had two battalions there for the past 2-3 weeks anyway. The other dozen BTG already left. This means that the firepower used against the Azovstal will be shifted to other fronts.

  8. I also got a HDMI cable to connect my laptops to a 24 inch widescreen monitor. Finished Witcher 1 movie. I liked the story. It is very simplified but it is authentic/derivative from the books. The voice actor for Geralt is the same as W2/W3 and he hit the ground running. They also changed Geralt's personality a little bit from the books- they made him somewhat more sharp-witted/forked tongue and more sarcastic/badass than in the books. So the change I detected in W3 was already made in W1. I also like how Dandelion was an important part of W1 just like he was in the books and played a similar role. The also greatly expanded Shani's role (in the books she was a minor character). Triss' role is very sneaky but overall quite shallow. Now onto the Witcher 2 movie. Witcher 2 was known to be a huge leap forward and it was a big success for CDPR:
  9. terrific fia art
  10. I think this is the first sighting of Russian next-gen weapons in Ukraine :
  11. I am getting into watching Witcher 1's story, which takes place right after the books. It was a low budget game that dropped circa 2007. The story is very derivative of scenarios in the books and can be seen as a very simplified version of them. There are routine connections to the books being made that would go over the head of players who didn't read them. The writing is loyal to the source material but very conservative and nowhere as creative as the brilliant Witcher 3, which matched the author and arguably exceeded him in areas. It captures the atmosphere of the books the way the Netflix show doesn't. It appears that the main characters have the same voice actors throughout the series.
