Interesting book based breakdown of the trailer. IMHO this show could be OK but I doubt that it will capture the magic and freshness of the original. Fire and Blood comes across as too derivative of Game of Thrones and a lesser version of it. Like how LOTR is the superior version of the Hobbit/Simarillion.

The laptop I got has a $300 price drop recently. I noticed that MSI with the RTX 3060 is noticably a good buy especially compared to the MSI gaming laptops with the RTX 3070. ($600-$1000 plus price difference). It seems like MSI really wants to phase out the RTX 3060 and RTX 3050. Video editing only needs 4 GB VRAM maximum. The RTX 3060 also surpasses the requirements for Elden Ring. However, I've noticed that the laptop version of the RTX 3060 has 6 GB of VRAM while the desktop component has 12 GB. What does this mean to you? What video card do you have?

I finished the Hobbit. It was way too boring/slow paced and too much of a children's book for me. I have Count of Monte Cristo, LOTR trilogy and Game of Thrones books 1-3 audiobooks to do next. Will probably finish LOTR first. Count of Monte Cristo is genius level writing.
