Having Pacino and Dicaprio help you isn't bad, even a no-talent can get small roles. Bar from what I remember on the BZ thread is a celebrity in Israel and still is, and she is still modeling even though she's overaged.

I heard that movie was made because of expiration of copyrights or something.. It is really frustrating to lose track of important documents. I know it's somewhere in these rooms but there is just too much stuff to go through. Another one is re-connecting with people long lost. It is either wonderful or bittersweet. It is striking that there are many 'romance' archetypes in the W3. Just some come to mind: Yennefer: Extremely loyal and devoted, but openly critical/condescending/bossy, high standards for men. Triss: Very sweet and devoted, but is a social justice warrior. Shani: Career girl, career comes first before relationship. Syanna: Casual sex girl, redeemable sociopath Ciri: independent warrior woman, adventurer. Cerys: wise, observant, socially and politically astute, intrigued and attracted to Geralt Priscilla: Artistic girl, and social Dandelion's lovers: Simple Farm girl (easily seduced), Rich lady, Writer/preschool teacher, and Rich, rebellious/spoiled girl.

The offensive is still ongoing (9/1). So far it has been no good for Ukraine. The Russians are counterattacking the small breaches in the frontline. Ukraine prepared 2 months (July-August) for this offensive. If Ukraine has no success in the coming days and only has high losses, they will terminate the offensive with a loss. The Russians would then be ahead, and able to exploit this.

8/29-31 has ended with some slight gains on the outskirts. Russians claim an additional 500 Ukrainian troop losses. There will be more attacking tomorrow.

I heard the main complaint with fans was that Season 5-8 had way too much non-book content as the books end in Season 4. I have only finished half of the audiobook for Game of Thrones book 1. It seems like the basic ending of Season 8, however it will be reached (or not, if GRRM never finishes it) will be the same as in the TV show. I recall GRRM advised them on the ending, and HBO had free reign to make their journey to the final destination in their own way, which didn't set well with many fans.

GRRM worked closely with season 1 of this show. GOT IIRC, had GRRM up to Season 4 (or 3?).

Leo's lifestyle is extremely social, and he hangs around people with influence. Gisele, Bar, Blake, Cami definitely benefited to varying degrees (modeling careers and acting). Kelly got married soon after, Nina is well connected and moves around in high society, obviously trying to find Richy-Rich. Erin is the most beautiful one to me but didn't benefit much.

I think there is some sort of mutually agreed upon exchange. His reputation trails him. Any woman that is close to Leo gets a lot of publicity and her career prospects improve a bit. They get a lot of connections. Like being his girlfriend is some kind of stepping stone LOL. Erin Heatherton didn't seem to profit too much though.

with Hugh Hefner I kind of understand the playboy thing as it's part of his brand. Leo could just drop the pretenses and be a bachelor & be with many different women. What I've never seen is a theory on why he rents these beautiful women for 1-5 years. Seems like a series of wasted investments. He also drops them when they are young enough to find another partner, potentially husband material. That's actually nice of him. If he dated only women ages 30-35, that would be bad.

Ukraine launched what might be their biggest counterattack of the war so far. Rumors is that the Kherson assault force is approx. 12,000 strong. August 29-30. So far it is appears to have costed them heavy losses but with some small (currently unconfirmed) gains on the outskirts of Kherson Oblast. It will likely continue tomorrow. There are Ukrainian forces massing at Izyum and at Kharkiv (Northern front), likely to be used as well. There is footage of Ukrainian infantry and tanks advancing through open fields, or hedgerows and getting struck by Russian artillery and airstrikes. The artillery strikes on individual tanks and infantry groups are precise and appear to be guided rounds or fire from helicopter gunships and aircraft. This is more of the usual, where infantry and tanks are vulnerable to artillery in modern war. The Russian military claimed this on 8/30. the 1200 claimed Ukrainian human losses for the day is the highest the Russian MOD has ever claimed from what I've seen. : The effective actions of the Russian group of troops destroyed 48 tanks, 46 infantry fighting vehicles, 37 other armored fighting vehicles, 8 pickups with large-caliber machine guns and more than 1200 Ukrainian servicemen during the day. ◽️ When repelling the enemy offensive, Russian troops defeated the units of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred from western Ukraine to participate in the operation. Five members of the brigade laid down their arms and surrendered.
