I'm thinking that it's just best to make a Witcher 3 show. Forget about the books. That's the version of the witcher that people are most familiar with anyway and want. CDPR would have to sell the rights for their version of the Witcher, if it is possible.

From what I've seen of Unreal Engine 5 so far I am impressed with the fluidity of movement and the environments. However, I am not the biggest fan of their face modeling so far. Something about their faces reminds me of expensive plastic figurines rather than human faces. Uncanny valley. Geralt in witcher 1 has lots of hook-up options. In Witcher 2 and 3 there is actually far less of this. Witcher 1 also has the best brothel in the series and some good side quests involving intrigue there. I would say that most of the hook ups in W1 are relatively short, like this one. The rest are more involved:

Yes, this definitely happened. I saw it unfold (I followed the witcher reddits quite often). She routinely did this and even posted screenshots of text and so forth prior to Season 2. I heard about the writer's room, but I am more curious about what exactly were their objections to the Witcher games and books.

I like that Henry C. is a fan of the saga. I think Henry C. shouldn't have tried to copy Doug C's voice. He should have just used his own. Something about it is unnatural and throws me off. Also, I just think his physical appearance is too extreme for Geralt in the books. He looks like a Greek God. In terms of acting and personality what comes to mind is Tom Cruise or Christian Bale in the Last Samurai/Batman begins. Both are troubled young men with a death wish which what Geralt was in "The Last Wish". My ideal book Geralt doesn't need to do Doug C's voice either. In terms of appearance, yes, he should be an athlete but wiry and not large. He should be rugged in appearance and not a beauty queen like Henry C...

oh yeah, did you like him as Geralt? I like the actor but I think he was rather miscast as Geralt.

I lean towards him quitting, not getting fired. He is the biggest star of the show and a huge marketing asset, and was highly paid. In general people did like him as Geralt. Maybe season 3 was the last straw for him. That's my guess.

Henry C. signed on to the series without reading the books. He was a fan of the Witcher 3. I get the sense that he joined the show not fully knowing how the show would be written and made. He may have believed that show would be like the Witcher 3 but instead it is very much its own thing, mostly disconnected from the books but influenced by it. After Season 1 he revealed that he read some of the books but was still working on them. By Season 2 he was done and his co-stars said that he had read the books very seriously and had them with him for reference. He was also trying to make the direction of the show more like the books. And he had complained about it in interviews and social media.

I've never seen Liam act. It must suck being compared to one's brother who is far more successful. My main issue is Liam's eyes are spaced so close together lol
