I wish she could at least do smaller roles first, the kind where filming takes only two weeks or so. And If I had been part of her management I would have tried to get her a role in Sin City 2. XD The first one was filled with all kinds of beautiful women and I think the casting was different from the norm. Jaime King, Jessica Alba, Alexis Bledel etc.

Adriana has star power which is very hard to learn whereas almost anyone can become better at acting if they practise. And that star power can go a long way especially when you need to fill up the silver screen. She has also had great training through modelling because she has had to learn to use her body and not rely on words when conveying an emotion. I think many directors would go crazy if they found out they got to cast such a beauty in their movie. I was watching clips of Salma Hayek in From Dusk Till Dawn and I think that kind of grindhouse movie could work out surprisingly well for her. And of course Vicky Cristina Barcelona

I remember that in one interview Adriana said that she wants to act but first her accent needs to get better. Well, she has been living in the USA for quite some time now, speaking English with her husband I presume so it's not gonna get any better if it already hasn't. So I hope she won't let that hold her back anymore! She might be able to make her accent her thing like Sofía Vergara, Penelope Cruz etc. (Not expecting her to be an Oscar winner calibre actress.) And she might actually find speaking easier when she has a specific script to learn and a dialect coach. Now the scene she did for Ugly Betty was cringeworthy but if she can bring that quality we see in her commercial work (like "What Is Sexy" Michael Bay commercials) she would have something really special to add to a scene.

Shanina's look really pops on the runway so I want to see her back. Right now I don't need to see Xenia Deli on the runway, her getting more catalogue work with Victoria's Secret would be amazing enough for me. I was really baffled that Anna Jagodzinska made only one appearance! To me she was the most beautiful at the 09 show, even beating the Angels. That year was a weird one for many girls. Rosie was super hot however

Modelling seems not to be the issue but Victoria's Secret specifically. My guess is that they hear about all the job offers they can't take, see other successful models doing all sorts of interesting things and as much as they like being an Angel the work is pretty similar year after year. Even as a viewer it gets a little boring sometimes to see them go to the same places. One show is the highlight, going to a swim vacation/work is great but there really doesn't seem to be that much variety. Every year they do the same things basically. These are some spoiled bitches we are talking about ;D And I don't usually do the whole "Oh wow that is their job while millions upon millions are slaving away at factories" but seeing this video made that thought pop into my head

It seems like being an Angel starts to lose its luster after some time. I would say that someone like Adriana is an exception. Others seemed to have declared "I want way more money or a less strict contract or I'm out". There were rumours about Gisele and Miranda etc. and Doutzen confirmed it in a way.

She is just telling the truth. There is no one else at least amongst the Angels who has 3-4 major contracts. Many are lucky enough to land one. And why would she mention L'Oréal when Victoria's Secret is the one who is in direct competition with H&M clothing. Obviously, she is a gold mine when it comes to selling products and an image or otherwise these brands would not want to share her and would look for a new girl with no other big contracts.

To me that shot of her holding a book is perfection! I love that vintage feeling. She looks like Marilyn Monroe! And I love that she got the September issue!

So my favorites to come back are Genevieve Morton (confirmed), Alyssa Miller, Jessica Gomez and Nina Agdal. I'm glad Kate Bock has another chance. However, Natasha was my favorite rookie due to her coloring so I hope she will make an appearance. Anne V is a hit or miss for me depending on her hair styling. I do think that if they are going to give her more appearances than they have ever given to a model she should have a higher SI profile... Otherwise the whole thing seems redundant. I feel for Julie Henderson but if they are not going to send her to a location like Israel (dreaming of Egypt even though it's impossible) I don't think she should necessarily come back. Cintia Dicker has great lips and looks amazing in blue, Jessica Perez has an interesting look, Emily Didonato looks gorgeous in beauty campaigns, Chrissy has an amazing body, Irina can be hot as hell and Ariel looks great in red but I'm not that adamant about them returning.

Katsia was so outstanding in the Holiday campaign that it was a real shame she stopped working for VS. Thankfully there is Magdalena who has a similar aesthetically pleasing look! I would like to see Xenia Deli beyond the PINK line. She can have a cute vibe but she is often full on sexy which would lend itself to showcasing the lingerie pieces.

I would flip out if they brought back Naomie Campbell! Not a fan of hers but she and the runway go together! Yeah, Angela was a trip to watch but now I feel like damn if that is the "weak link" of a segment then you know the segment is pretty good! I remember Abbey Lee and how everyone was so excited about her so I was a little surprised that she didn't come back the next year but I think there was a time when her look had moved pretty far away from the VS style. I also wonder about Emanuela de Paula.

Yes to Poly! She is in my list for big names that made their presence known along with Carmen Kass and Angela Lindvall although some of it is me being sentimental because I don't normally follow their careers. Noemie Lenoir could bring diversity. I think there is still a chance for some of the girls I mentioned because in my mind models like Caroline Winberg or Julia Stegner are a part of the same group and they were still present in the 2011 show. From pretty recent models, I would like to see Edita and maybe also Maryna and Anne V back on the runway.

Which past Victoria's Secret models would you like to see back on the runway? For me it would be girls from the classic era of VS shows like Inguna Butane, Andi Muise, Fernanda Tavares, Ana Beatriz Barros, even Morgane Dubled and Tatiana Kovylina. Of course there are also others that I'd like to see back like models who didn't appear in the 2012 show but have been a part of the pretty recent shows or some big names that definitely made their presence known.

YAY if it's Switzerland! That would mean my first instincts were on point! And I would love it if the location isn't in Italy because the usual suspects of Italy, Spain and Greece are played out. Let the other magazines do amazing shoots there but for SI the locations should be one of a kind!

I have a crazy feeling that it could go to Behati. Before that would have been a complete joke. She moved up the ladder at a glacial pace but it's kind of cool to see how persistence pays off

I also wanna see Barbara because I think she could bring an entertaining new dynamic to the lineup. Challenge Candice Because the way I see it is that Candice has been the reigning girl at least when it comes to the newer Angels and I think Barbara could bring some serious competition I think there are enough similarities and differences between those two that things could get interesting.

I'm sorry but statements like this don't make much sense to me and I explained why in the post below. (Especially since celebrity culture has moved towards a place where a woman's fame is enhanced by her having children as opposed to before when it was the kiss of death.)

Baby pictures sold to magazines have always felt a little tacky to me but the rationalization behind it seems to have been that the paparazzi are not allowed to profit off the kids. If she was in demand, the paparazzi would hound her to get that shot of her baby regardless. Some celebrities have devalued the baby pictures my going to the social media. I would say that Gisele is more in demand since she on top of everything else is married to a famous person. The others would probably be ignored like Adriana if they weren't putting themselves out there (however I'm not familiar with Doutzen's situation and Orlando would garner some interest at least in the beginning). Also the reason why I brought up charity is because that seems to be the party line for celebrities who sell their baby pictures but of course it's a possibility that Adriana might have pocketed all the money she got for the cover she did with her first child (and it would have been her right).

Oh I'm sure if she were to offer herself up like some of the names you mentioned there would be pictures but I'm saying that in this current situation there isn't enough demand. The reason why I think she might be up for a shoot is because she did it in the past and for a gossip magazine. If a prestigious magazine like Vanity Fair, W Magazine etc. would have a great offer for her I'm not so sure that she would turn it down. However, since she has apparently been very protective of her youngest child's pictures also leads me to speculate that she might have said no more baby picture publicity even if she originally did it mostly because she was a proud first time mother.

It's a little hard to get one's point across on the Internet but what I'm trying to say is that if there was demand for her youngest child's baby pictures there would be paparazzi pictures. Especially if magazines had offered her lucrative contracts even if she turned them down since magazines would then just pay the paparazzi (at least the type of magazines that Adriana and her family have already posed for in the past). However, Brazil might be different. And I'm well aware that no one has to sell anything since I already speculated that she might have ended up not liking her choice do a photo shoot with her baby.

I meant big offers as in Vanity Fair etc. saying we want to take a beautiful family portrait shot by Annie Leibovitz and there is going to be a substantial check for your charity. If that was her celebrity status, the paparazzi would be swarming in so they could be the one with a picture worth $$$.

That is a good point Savanna! You would have to be a pretty big celebrity to be worth so much that the paparazzi would go out of their way to catch a picture. I don't think Adriana is as money oriented as to sell every private moment but I do think if a magazine was to put down a lot of money she would do a photo shoot since she could then give the money to children in need etc. My guess is that big offers aren't coming in and the lack of paparazzi pictures are a good indication of that (although there probably would be interest in Brazil).

The thing is that none of that would matter if her pictures were in fact in demand. The paparazzi are hustling for their money and they would take it no matter how private Adriana is. And obviously she hasn't always been super private since she had her whole family on a gossip magazine cover (even if it was to take control back). Maybe that wasn't a good experience for her so now she isn't releasing anything.
