Ugh yes I hate the frantic hand movements to encourage people to clap more. If you have to do that to get a reaction, don’t even bother. Case in point someone like Tyra didn’t have to do any of that and she still got applause, people recognized it was Tyra on the runway. Your presence and walk should be strong enough.

That's right TheBombshell. I suspect Karlie did hear because the fan reported that Karlie looked at her after her comment. In my opinion, Karlie should have handled the situation a bit better. Either leave the place without posing for paparazzi if you are that tired but if you still have energy to work (=get more fame) why not nod and say that unfortunately you have to leave or something like that. It's the decent thing to do.

Well she is the owner of that site and a huge fan so it's to be expected that she would vent / get some sympathy and tea and let people know why she was not going to continue with it anymore. Otherwise she would probably get tons of comments like "OMG why is this not updated anymore, this is my favorite site?!?" Ooh I like that Prettyphile :brows:

I get why you Limerlight and Prettyphile have an issue with her claiming she loves Karlie to her. I had a reaction to that while reading the story too. However, it's really not that big of a deal. Those three little words can be thrown around between casual friends, between people who just had a minor disagreement ("You know I love you!"), an artist on stage yelling that to the audience, fans yelling that to a celebrity walking by etc. It's not to be taken so heatedly ("What a stalker!!!").

Hard to say what was going on but she did stop to pose for the photographer / paparazzi so I don't think the fan was unreasonable in her request. The real deal breaker seems to have been Karlie's cold attitude which can be self-preservation on her part but on the other hand she was in PR / fame mode while posing so seems quite harsh not to acknowledge a fan's presence instead of just looking at the other person she is beneath her. However, the last part could be just the fan remembering things worse than they really were because of a severe disappointment. Maybe Karlie just had a blank look due to being tired. I wonder how the pictures turned out...

Maybe Lily and Kate met through Justin Gelband so Behati might be in the cards. The only thing I've seen him in was Celebrity Ghost Stories and he seemed nice enough there but if he was bullshitting about his ghost experience he is a nice liar I suppose I was a little surprised about the rumors of her dating someone from Dancing with the Stars because it seems more gay friendly / feminine men than football So maybe this guy overcompensates by being really macho. Their dating was clear to me when I saw this video from Style Awards:

When I saw those pictures of Cindy with her daughter over at Dailymail, I was amazed. Cindy has the strongest model genes around! I remember seeing a long time ago a picture where she was with her young children and the kids looked so much like their mommy that even her son looked like a girl I wasn't that taken by her daughter's Versace pictures but she seems to have blossomed!

I dunno about this warrior theory... Barbara's outfit is gold and in the same scene the clothes of Jean Pigozzi's character have gold as well as the set (what seems like a throne etc.). And it would be a little peculiar colour choice for a fighter because of its strong symbolic meanings.

I never felt the whole Miranda/Orlando theory rang true especially because he has definitely slowed down careerwise for years. To me at least the whole Orlando thing was quite on the downlow untill she started to court the paparazzi and had a baby. And by that time of course she had established a name on her own because you would see "model" or "Victoria's Secret Angel" as her title instead of "Orlando Bloom's girlfriend". So I agree beachbabe129!

I like the idea of a white as in truly white Fantasy Bra. Not just using diamonds because then it would resemble Karolina's Fantasy Bra. In 2006-2007, I loved PINK just as much as the other segments. 2005 Sexy Delicious kind of fits that style too. I don't get why they won't go back to that look. Do they really need to put all the things they have in stock in the PINK section? Sweatpants and everything. Using models with more sex appeal might work as well instead of having PINK be the collection of "different" models. Being a Victoria's Secret model should still mean one is a bombshell. Yes Lily should work on her walk. I'm not sure why she has so much trouble with it but the walk looks very stiff and awkward. Sure she doesn't have runway training but models have talked about practising their walk down the hallway. She kind of goes from side to side but it should look more fluid like gliding and an easy natural swing to the hips. Maybe she should take longer steps and put her feet more in front of the other. It wasn't as noticable in 2009 but in 2012 like in the Angels in Bloom section her walk made her look uncomfortable and it's not fun to watch someone like that. In a way, it's a small area to improve but I think if she could do that her popularity would rise both professionally and among the public. I'm sure that if Gisele or Tyra were to put a price tag on their walk it would be in the millions. It's that extra edge which can snowball into other opportunities. I'm surprised about Emily Didonato too. She has a high profile, does high fashion, obviously has the face for it... But had to turn to SI? SI is awesome but nowadays its not the first choice for a famous model compared with a time when they had huge models like Cindy and Naomi.

They should have scrapped Love Rocks altogether, that thing stinks like you have no idea. I admire Marisa and the people who promoted that crap, no wonder is no longer in stores But I think Erin's contract was up somewhere this year, she was contracted in early/mid 2010 at the same time as Candice so there's three possible outcomes for this: She's negotiating, she re-negotiated already but is taking a well deserved break or the contract wasn't renewed. We won't know for sure if she's staying or leaving until after the VSFS, because even if she does walk this year that could be her send-off as it was the case in 2008 with Karolina, 2009 with Marisa & 2011 with Chanel. XD I'm really picky about scents so to me it's always a little amusing when the models claim that each new perfume is the one their wear and their favorite. This is from the Forbes article: Erin's contract might very well be up. I think the girls who have been with Victoria's Secret the longest have / will have multi-year contracts but the newer ones might have ones that are renewed yearly or so. Lily's interview confirmed in a way that the "Angel" contract is not up to it's old standards. (0.29)

Does anyone know when her contract was / will be up? It might be a similar situation to Marisa Miller and her Love Rocks perfume (they scrapped the campaign they did with Marisa and used other people since she didn't have a contract anymore).

I'm open to Karlie being the first model. (I remember not liking it when she was the one who closed the show in 2011 because I thought that highlight should have gone to one of the Angels.) Her walk is really sexy and powerful, I rewound her part in Angels in Bloom since it looked so good from the side

Now that Ed Razek has invited Brett Ratner to the show I wonder if he'll go and if it will create a situation similar to Michael Bay looking on as Rosie was on the runway
