Have all of the locations been beaches so far? Usually there is at least one “different” location i.e. a city, a desert, a farm etc.

I hope she’ll take this opportunity and run with it. Kate Upton is proof that you can do great things with SI and end up having a bigger career than many models who are sanctioned by Victoria’s Secret.

I think it’s better when the lip-synching happens on stage etc. at the VSFS. It makes the video look more official and professional music video-esque. The one they released now could have been shot at any time. They should have picked a more fast-paced song for a video that was going to have random scenes in it. Or the video should have told a little story or featured vignettes like what was done here:

I felt that Sara was the best. She related the lyrics to her partner (Jasmine) in a playful way on the beach.

Like I said before, I think it could have resulted in the models coming up with great moves to the song. I mean, he is singing about how he can’t feel his face, the models have beautiful faces… The possibilities are endless. Candice looks striking in that little vid!

Doutzen really is a beauty. I walked past a H&M store today and her smiling face caught my eye. No wonder H&M wanted to get her from Victoria’s Secret.

Seeing that proposed line-up felt so weird to me like Candice would be the only “veteran”?? I think that Candice is a bona fide Victoria’s Secret Angel but to me she still represents the younger generation of Angels. However, it’s a sad fact that sooner rather than later she will be the most senior Angel because all the other Angels that came before her had already left. I wish that the Angel line-up could still consist of models who were there at the height of what it meant to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel (Adriana, Alessandra), models who could match the presence, glamour and beauty of the iconic Victoria’s Secret Angels before them (Miranda, Doutzen) and the future leading Angels (the likes of Candice).

Did Alessandra invite her staff to the show so that they would have the opportunity to see her on the Victoria’s Secret runway one last time?

Maybe Alessandra could be moving on but I don’t see this year’s show being the last for both them. If that had been the case, I think that VS would have spotlighted them on the show (3 outfits for each, Alessandra and Adriana leading the finale walking hand in hand etc.) Although of course we don’t know yet what segments they shot for the show that will air on TV. Maybe Alessandra will leave “quieter” but I think that Adriana will get a send-off like Tyra did in 2005.

Magdalena looked unbelievably sexy there so it’s weird to me that she got only one look. In addition, I think that Shanina tends to look great on the runway. Well, at least she seems to have gotten a really good outfit (the black butterfly one).

When I saw the side-by-side pictures of Heidi wearing the Fantasy Bra at the 2003 VSFS and Gisele wearing the Fantasy Bra at the 2005 VSFS, Lily’s look for the runway made more sense to me. However, I think that adding a red bra under Lily’s Fantasy Bra was a last-minute decision. Heidi’s red bra was trimmed so they had planned in advance for her to wear underwear underneath her rather revealing Fantasy Bra set. Gisele’s red “bra”, which was more like lining, was barely visible underneath her Fantasy Bra. Lily’s red bra looked huge especially from the side but also from the front because of the way the Fantasy Bra’s cups were shaped. They should have tailored a red bra for Lily so that the bra bands would have been delicate and would have had no presence in the front of the bra while push-up cups would have helped Lily to fill up the Fantasy Bra.

So far Candice got the best outfit. The wings are amazing (even though at first I wasn’t sure about the added longer fringe) and the bikini and jewellery really fit the look. Candice’s personal style is already sort of boho chic. The boots might be a bit too heavy but overall the look is a win. Alessandra’s Fireworks outfit is amazing as well. Love the bold colour combination and the richness of the feathers. I like that they paired the wings with simple lingerie. An elaborate costume or lingerie that covers up her body would have been too much with the wings. The green colour makes the lingerie pop and is appropriate for the runway. However, I wish that the wings looked more like in the sketch i.e. 3D instead of like a round shield on her back. Perhaps they should have picked longer feathers for the design. However, Alessandra could create her own wind to make the feathers look more flowy. Without the LED wings, Martha’s corset looked like a sad showgirl outfit. However, the look is hot under the LED lights. The yellow bra is absolutely necessary for the outfit to work. Taylor’s American flag outfit looks pretty good all things considered. It doesn’t look too cheap or kitsch like patriotic costumes often do unfortunately. I’m impressed by how they made the flag. It’s different from what one would expect to see. Her legs look amazing in the thigh high boots. However, the middle part of the outfit does not look flattering on her. Behati’s Boho outfit looked the worse to me at first. However, she looked beautiful in the video of her fitting. I still think that she wasn’t the best choice to wear the fringe top because of her skin tone. The look as a whole is a bit washed out. And I’m not a big fan of her animal print bikini bottoms.

Ugh, don’t like those boots and didn’t like the fur booties either. However, I thought that the butterfly shoes were great.

The only thing that can save Sara’s fireworks “wings” is if they are actually sparklers. As it stands, she looks very bare. However, the shoes are hot and green plus yellow are a nice pop of colour.

I could see it in Boho too because of the “quilt” design. Shame about the tie-dye though! Although the colours were cute, I think they should have left this one alone.

Candice being in “Ice Angels” makes sense since she was the original Ski Bunny These wings are AMAZING: One of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen. To me they look like the could belong in the Ice Angels segment because some of the shapes reminds me of snowflakes. If Candice gets to wear those, she has the best luck in getting wings! From one of the “making of” videos one could already tell that the wings with fringe are going to be really special. The only minus is that the longer fringe covers Candice’s butt now

Nooooo, the wings take away from the Fantasy Bra They completely overwhelm the look. She looks like she is being crowded by those things. And the wings look more like sunflowers or sea plants than fireworks.

I like the song ”Outside” but Ellie Goulding is only featured in that song and it’s a year old so I think that rules it out from the show.

Well, it probably is a reference to drinking/drugs but so was Seal’s song “Amazing.” then i don't see the problem, i think GFY fit very well I think it’d be a bit dangerous of VS to have Selena singing how she wants to look good for her man, “Let me show you how proud I am to be yours,” etc. while models are walking up and down the runway half-naked. To get away with putting on a show that focuses on women’s looks without being archaic like many beauty pageants are today, they have to put a “girl power” twist into the show and be all about celebrating women etc.

Not feeling Selena’s song “Good For You.” And it’s not very empowering either yet that’s the message Victoria’s Secret wants to send because they are showcasing lingerie-clad models on a runway…
