No one can deny that face. I think that Barbara will be popular among SI readers. Men tend not to be so concerned with whether or not someone has a super toned body.

So happy she got that as her location. I think that tropical paradises like Turks and Caicos and Bora Bora tend to work out great. Malta could be a great location too but I dunno if they were able to work the Mediterranean feel to its full potential.

I hear that sometimes models get paid in trade i.e. they get to keep the clothes they wore on the runway but even that is not always the case because the designers might need the clothes after the show for photo shoots. It’s considered an honour to walk for a high fashion designer during Paris Fashion Week etc. The models hope that the designer will then book them to be a face of the brand.

My understanding is that models don’t usually get paid for editorials or runway shows or they get paid very little. (Only big name models can earn a lot doing runway shows.) Being on the cover of a magazine or walking for a designer or shooting an editorial is great exposure so the idea is that you might get noticed from that and get booked for a campaign. Campaigns pay very well. However, I don’t know if the models get paid to attend SI events or to promote the issue.

Samantha is a complete mess again. Is she really supposed to represent SI models?? I don’t want to be unkind but everything is wrong with her look. And the people at SI know how she looks at events yet they keep hiring her. I don’t get it.

Hah, Hill was completely useless in that extended commercial. She was barely visible in it. Adriana and Jasmine were definitely spotlighted the most. Elsa got a better face shot than Taylor and even though Alessandra didn’t have much screen-time, she was featured more prominently in the group shots than Taylor. Taylor should be very happy if the 30 second commercial is the one that will be aired. Was Adriana’s voice dubbed?

That does give the impression that the model search contestants are sort of like second-tier models since four rookies have already been guaranteed a spot in the magazine. I mean, it’s not like SI chose the rookies based on who are already successful and well-known in the fashion industry.

She probably likes “nip-slips” but part of the issue is her boob job, which has resulted in her nipples being placed too high. In this video, you can see part of her nipple even though that white bikini top should be enough to cover the nipple area: By the way, the first girl in the video, Jessica Buchanan, reminds me so much of Jac Jagaciak!

Yes I have and they are definitely fluff but Samantha does not have the personality to do studio interviews. Hosting a party is about all she is suited for when it comes to promoting the issue.

WTF, how is Samantha a good spokesmodel? Sometimes I wonder if she is even a real person. She seems to act like what she thinks the male fantasy is. But I guess hosting a party is a better fit for her than sending her out to do an interview with “Fox and Friends” and the like.

Has anyone heard why Adriana and Alessandra aren’t in the upcoming Swim Special?

Why won’t she send her Polaroid pictures to Ed or to someone else if sending them to Ed is too skeezy? When Josie Maran thought that she might not be invited back to shoot for SI because she had gained some weight before her first shoot, she took Polaroid pictures of herself and sent them to the editor at the time to show that she was ready.

My thanks to you and @dubstep! Great to hear that because I hope to see Barbara as a guest on different shows. I think she’d be a good interview subject and the right kind of girl to represent the issue.

It could have been nice to see Sara and Barbara promoting the issue together. Do rookies ever get sent to morning shows etc. or is it always the veterans that go?
