I think the key for any model to get anywhere near as big of a send-off as Tyra did is to retire completely from regular modelling and to go on into bigger and better things (movie stardom, hosting their own show etc.) So, VS can brag that they had her first and she is ending her career as a model on the “biggest fashion show on earth.” From VS’ POV, why would they celebrate a model who is leaving and will work for other brands? In that scenario, the model is basically saying that she is tired of working for VS or the partnership just wasn’t as mutually satisfying as before.

@Souled-Out Yes, men’s magazines love to do those “hot girls who love sports” or “hot girls who like nerdy stuff” or any other topic that is usually considered a primarily male interest. So Josephine being a Raiders fan seems like something they could work with further.

I like it Her “Stay strong,” is less motivational speaker like than Ashley’s. Only one or two unflattering expressions in the video. I do think that it was a visual mistake to have food that turned stuff green. Unless you are into conspiracies and the set-up is meant to convey a certain message…

Really? I took one to a kindergarten when it was a day we could bring in a toy from home But I shouldn't have Because it had eyes that lit up when you pressed its tummy but some boys got a hold of it and I guess pressed it so often that the batteries ran out.

Has the male audience (GQ, Maxim, Esquire etc.) responded to Josephine like they did to Candice? My impression is that they haven’t.

Candice had a standout feature, her body i.e. waist-to-hip ratio that is unlike any other model’s. At the most, she could be compared to a smaller version of Beyoncé. Josephine, while being very attractive, doesn’t have that one wow factor that would make her unique from all the other equally beautiful models.

I don’t get all the raving about her walk at the latest show. Her “Wohoo!” with the raise the roof hands and looking up as if she is an angel and is looking up at Heaven bugged me.
