^^Haha, you have a point. But I do get what the OP is trying to say. It's pretty much a disease infecting model threads. If you look at Irina's thread for example; half of it is pretty much about how she looks like Adri. Nataniele's thread is also full of it. Etc. It's too bad because each model/celebrity deserves to be known by themselves, not as that-girl-who-looks-like-Adriana. I think it's valid to ask users to tone down the she-looks-like talk, so threads don't get cluttered by them. Like Rosie's thread is now being cluttered with talk about Transformers 3 (of which there is now a thread here on the same board). Don't get me wrong, it's a huge compliment, but if even a average girl like me can get that compliment, how legit is it?

Haha, indeed. You know, I think Rosie is a lot more confident than Megan Fox. Megan always struck me as an insecure girl, inside. Since Rosie has already made a great career for herself, I don't think she'll take any sh!t from Bay. I mean, she's obviously a hard worker since she's made it this far, so that's not going to be a problem. The only problem I can think of is Bay acting like an @ss. But I think that as a model you have to wade through a lot of dirt before you get on dry land, so I'm sure Rosie knows how to handle herself. Megan does not have that kind of experience.

It's pretty annoying, I agree. I mean, just a mention here or there is no problem, but when pages and pages of a model's thread go on and on about how said model looks like Adriana, it gets old really fast. Also, I don't think ANY of those mentioned actually look like Adriana. Like it has been pointed out many times, these days all it takes is light eyes, dark hair and tan skin to be branded "The Next Adriana Lima Twin". It's stupid if you think about it. Does every blonde, lighteyed girl look like Scarlett Johanssen? No. Also, now there are girls who wear contact lenses and dye their hair in order to look like her. And then they post their pics on the net, saying it's all natural. Pathetic. I mean, even I have been told I look like Adriana by my fashion obsessed classmates. Seriously, the Adri lookalike stuff is getting a bit overboard.

I think VS should learn a bit about the phenomenon called overexposure. I like Candice, but like you I´m getting annoyed because it looks like they could only afford one girl, and hired a couple on the side to fill things up. They should mix it up, give the other models a chance to earn their spot. And I also agree on Adri´s funny faces. I mean, she´s not 14 anymore, she´s a grown woman. She lost that innocent, shy freshness she had, which made those cheeky smiles forgiveable, endearing even. Now it looks like it´s part of an act.

I always thought Transformers was good fun. I mean, if I want profound storytelling, I'll go elsewhere. Heidi Montag is too plastic and too mentally instable. I mean, even Bay, who seems to choose his actresses with his dick as compass is probably turned off by that. I'm happy Rosie got the part. She oozes sex and that's what the movie needs. Also, she's a model, so noone will expect good performances from her. Pretty much all she can do is surprise us, which is a good position to be in, I think. Go Rosie!

I have to say, in the beginning I thought she was just another overhyped actress. After all the buzz for her for Slumdog Millionaire, I was kinda negative toward her. But really, it's practically impossible to dislike someone who smiles like this: Thanks for the pics everyone and I guess I'll have to see the movie again...

I don't see the problem here. He might be a player, but I don't think Iri is as innocent as you all may believe. She knows she's hot and that a lot of men would do just about anything for a night with her. I mean, there has to be a reason she's photographed far more often in lingerie and swimsuits than clothes. So player meets hot supermodel. Sounds like a match made in heaven. I don't think Iri will be easily manipulated. To be honest I don't see why there's so much opposition towards Rosie getting that part. I think she's the only woman who can nail this one. No offence to Megan Fox, but she's a microwave compared to Rosie, who could probably burn a hole through the screen by just being there. For Rosie this would be just a detour. A fun sideproject that doesn't interfere, maybe even boosts the main current in her life that is modeling. And why not? There are so many girls out there competing with eachother in the modeling business. She might as well get her face out there. And let's be honest here, she's not the first: Adriana Lima did a short movie with Clive Owen and Mickey Rourke when she was just starting to boom in the modeling business. Alessandra had a short cameo in Casino Royale. Gemma Ward had a big role in an Indie film. I mean, what's the fuss? That's a bit hypocritical, isn't it? So an actress (whatever her acting ability) is inferior to a model and therefore a 'film whore'? Models usually bare a lot more than those B actresses. Models go on ads looking provocative and sexy. Models get their money parading around in lingerie. 15-year olds do artsy almost nude photoshoots in the name of fashion. I mean, I like Rosie, she looks fantastic, but I do not hold her profession in higher regard than acting. Anyway, some eyecandy to balance out my ramble.

Wow, great pics! She looks fantastic! Does anyone else think she looks younger these days? After 2005, I thought her looks started to decrease (still gorgeous though) but in these pics she looks like someone pushed the rewind button. I like her, but she looks typically Dutch. That's not a bad thing (it's my home country) but she doesn't stand out. In these pictures, she looks quite forgettable. But thanks for starting the thread anyway You never know how people turn out...

Even though I included her in my "Aargh not her again" contribution, I still have a weak spot for Adriana Lima. She was the one who got me into models in the first place. Lately, she's left me indifferent, but her comeback looks promising. I hope she'll go back to this: (credit to Nothingless)

^^I agree, why some people are celebs and have fans to begin with is just mindboggeling to me. Paris does nothing else than just...being there and being irritating and a pointless waste of space. And poking people to death with her knees and elbows from hell. - Kim Kardashian. Just because she made a sex tape suddenly makes her important? Okay, so she's kinda hot, but really, there are billions of girls who are better looking than she is. And less stupid. - Those annoying girls from the Hills and The City. Why do they even have fans? - Olsen twin fans. They're usually pro ana girls using these two as their thinspo. Kate Moss fans. Granted, I don't see much of em here but the tabloids and other models (Tyra, Janice Dickinson) talk of her like she's the perfect being. I don't even find her that pretty.
