hmm, I always relate a name to a person. I always thought Nathalie was a beautiful name, until I met one of the most nastiest girls I've ever met with that same name. Which is why I'll never call my child Nathalie. (Now I'm trying to get rid of it by trying to associate it with Natalie Portman) I think lots of you choose names like Alessandra, Natasha, etc because you associate them with nice & beautiful models. Hell, I used to hate the name Katja, but with Katja Schekina, it's starting to grow on me. Same with Ana; never really liked the name until Ana BB came along. Now that doesn't mean I love it, but I don't dislike it anymore. Ofcourse some names are prettier than the other but it certainly helps if you know a great person with that very name.

The only thing I can say about modeling is that it's a beautiful profession, but a treaturous one at that. If you have trouble keeping everything together and you're surrounded by the wrong people, you could indeed end up like that. That's why I am against models of such a young age. They should do ads for what they are really meant to: teenage stuff. that's it. Shoots for claire's, Pieces, abercomby or stuff like that. While I was zapping I saw this perfume commercial with this girl in it who was in the water, naked, with her bare breasts on full display if it weren't for a few glitters placed on them. I'd guess she's about 15 maybe even younger.... That's not an age at which you should strip and advertise a fraguance that's intended for adults anyway.

AHA, well let me attempt to answer that question for you: It's in us human beings to like talking about things/people that we dislike. Paris -apart from being plain annoying- is also: 1. rich because of her daddy 2. famous because of that very fact 3. kind of pretty (although her personality takes away a lot of that prettyness) 4. shocking (seemingly) with her sex tapes, her lack of talent in anything, her utter stupidity (in for example 'the simple life'), and getting drunk (and probably laid) at famous parties wearing skimpy clothes. Since all of the above points have a tendency to end up as a story in a magazine --which most of us read, more people around the world learn about Paris. And develop an opinion about her, which usually isn't a positive one. And since we humans like to spill so much about bad things, we end up going to a forum like this one and talk so much about it with likeminded people that her thread keeps on getting longer and longer until and beyond the 31 pages it has reached now. savvy? And there you have it, another post that has lengthened the thread about a girl lacking in so many ways we find it amusing enough to talk about.

Well, I do have a tendency to avoid conflict. But, I do have my own opinion and never pretend to like something I don't like. I almost never get mad or yell at anyone since most of the stuff people fight over seems foolish to me. I also never treat anyone badly - I treat people the way I would like to be treated. Does that make me "too nice"? Well, you'd be my perfect boyfriend if I'd hafta judge from this People yell a lot about stupid stuff indeed <_< I'd say stay the way you are and you'll find someone sooner or later. Right, buddy. Maybe it's the mentality here, but there is a whole bunch of girls who told me that they were attracted by adventures, risks and bad guys. Nice guys only bore them. And I tried it out! It really works more when you're not nice. I'm not into "the bad guy". I can't care for a guy who's wearing necklaces so heavy his neck's bending over, a car so pimped it could be featured in a futurstic graphic novel, so many 'friends' they could populate an entire country and who uses so much slang I need a special dictionary to translate what the hell he's saying, while underneath it all he's just a shy collegeboy who's biggest secret is that he pees in the shower. If you wanna get gals, just be yourself and don't be afraid to be different. It won't do you any good if you say you're favorite sport is bungeejumping while in reality you'd rather get shot first But really, underneath it all: the bankaccount is what REALLY matters. It's one of those questions that will always be debated. I mean human opinions ALWAYS differ. While I might Say Ana BB's face is the most gorgeous, someone will tell me that Adriana Lima actually should take the prize. When I say Gisele is probably the nicest, someone will probably tell me they've met her in person and she's a stuck up and that actually Ale's cute little smile is the one that makes everyone melt. SO.....my well thought out *cough* and not to mention intelligent ** conclusion: they're ALL beautiful and they SHOULD BE nice

Hmm, in theory I don't care. I mean handsome guys come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Eugen Bauder is for me the male equivelament of Adriana Lima. But I like Jensen Ackles too and he's white. Then again, there are a lot of handsome black guys also. But when it comes to what you encounter during everyday life I must say that the I encounter more attractive 'mixed' men than attractive white men. I see your point though; I can't easily name 4 white women who can match the looks of say Jessica Alba, Adriana Lima, Katya Schekina and Halle Berry. Still, it doesn't really matter. I mean, there are ugly and pretty people of every race.

Yeah, I agree with you on that point. In The netherlands we have a saying for that: "De put wordt pas gedempt waneer het kalf verdronken is" It more or less means that needed measurements are only taken when something really bad happens (in this case the death of 2 models). And you'll see that next year everyone has forgotten all about it and it'll go on like before. Until one drops dead again.... But still: Even if all this stuff hadn't happened, my opinion would still be the same. Let's hope she'll start eating something again. Cuz she's prolly pretty with some more flesh on her.

Wierd. :| Anyway, i think i have quite few probs with eating, but i hope that with some time i'll realize, that being skinny is not the most important thing. I just wish it would happen soon, cuz it's killing me. Gals, you both have ED's. I'd suggest you watch the scary skinny models thread in order to find out how horrible skinny can look. And start eating for god's sake. (read my previous post) Getting thin isn't that important. Not to lose your life over anyway. And did you know that not having your period for a long time can seriously damage your body? There was this 21 year old ballet dancer who didn't have her period for a long time, did a bone scan and found out she had the bones of a 70 year old. Really you don't want to do this to yourself. Looks fade overtime. And fast too. And then you'll hate yourself for being so stupid.
