Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Yeah, it was quite funny seeing Donald added to the cast. Now whenever he's on set, he'll always be thinking about what might have been. No word on his character as yet, but I could easily picture him as a young Robbie. I'm quite excited about Abraham Attah, too. He was superb in 'Beasts of No Nation' and he's of school age, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think that he might pop up as Miles Morales. I like the idea of a Peter movie that launches Miles for the future, with a view to a big 'passing of the torch' moment that really means something.

Here's a good one for fans of eccentric football commentary, as an Icelandic broadcaster goes into ecstasy after Traustason's winning goal.

UEFA Euro 2016
I found it strange that after De Bruyne, Hazard and Lukaku had really begun to fire in the second half of the Ireland game, they once again looked so hesitant against Sweden. More often than not, Lukaku's runs seemed to go unnoticed by attacking midfielders who were more intent on passing backwards than stretching the game or creating space. Still, I'm not sure if I could see Hungary or Wales having quite enough to knock Belgium out of the tournament. There are too many talented players in this squad who can conjure something magical out of nothing. Hazard and De Bruyne haven't even really impressed yet. Surely at least one of them must hit form at some point.

I can't honestly say that I care for Ronaldo's every character trait either, but his ego comes as part of a package deal that makes him the player he is. Had he not put in a real shift yesterday, Portugal would have been comfortably beaten by Hungary. He refused to give up and delivered crucial goals for his team. That being said, I would expect Croatia to handle this Portuguese side with relative ease in the next round. They're too disorganised at the back and I can't see their midfield being strong enough to stand up to Modric and Rakitic.

UEFA Euro 2016
Well yeah, Ronaldo has an ego, but love him or hate him, he brings entertainment and today he showed his class. His first goal was ridiculous, and his pass for Nani was stunning. To be honest, I didn't even think he had an assist like that in him. Hungary were fantastic though and deserved to win the group. Can't help being thrilled by Iceland too, because who doesn't love a great underdog story. For all the talk of them being England's best case scenario in the next round, they'll probably set up in a very similar way to Slovakia, who we weren't good enough to break down. Personally, I'd much rather have had another crack at Portugal, who look comically poor at the back. Overall, a great day of football. I hope it continues into the knockout rounds.

UEFA Euro 2016
What a phenomenal achievement by those boys in green (well, white tonight). I really thought it was over for them when Hoolahan fluffed his big chance, but the result was no more than they and their magnificent supporters deserved. Everyone should brace themselves for the mother of all grudge matches on Sunday.

UEFA Euro 2016
Best group by a distance, with some truly great entertainment. Ronaldo turned up when his country needed him most in the tournament, in the only way he really knows how. Still lovely to see Iceland finish ahead of them, though. Croatia will start as favourites against Portugal, but it's going to be a cracking match. Rather heartwarming to see Hungary back among Europe's elite, considering their rich history in the game. They won the group in some style too, who'd have thought it?

Nowhere near enough Melanie on our screens these days.

UEFA Euro 2016
As much as I've enjoyed some of Sweden's past teams, the way they've played in this tournament so far has bordered on cringeworthy. After failing to register so much as a shot on target in two whole games, you wonder whether Courtois will even need to turn up tonight.

UEFA Euro 2016
Well done Northern Ireland. Germany seemed able to slice through them at will at times, but those magnificent fans have their goalkeeper to thank for a spot in the knockout rounds. I was a bit sad that I couldn't focus on Czech Republic-Turkey while it was happening, it looked really exciting. Turkey should just about squeeze through, to play either France or Wales if I’m reading UEFA's table correctly. Sadly though, it'll probably be at the expense of Albania, who I think brought more to the tournament in their three games.

UEFA Euro 2016
That table is really starting to take shape, but it's looking very lopsided all of a sudden. More than half the pre-tournament favourites are going to end up knocking each other out now, with either Belgium or Croatia to surely reach the final from the other side of the draw. England's latest 'not quite' night against Slovakia has put us on a much harder road, and one that will probably see us bow out in the quarters at the latest. Not that I expected anything else, mind. Good to see Croatia through to the next round though, they were impressive in all three of their group games. Subasic was so far off his line for the penalty that I thought he was going to jump into my living room, but after the referee's appalling decision to award it in the first place, I honestly wouldn't have been that bothered if he'd run all the way out and karate chopped Sergio Ramos where he stood. As for Spain, well I guess having already achieved qualification, they could be forgiven for going through the motions a bit, but they'll have to improve if they're going to do anything against Italy.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
I have high hopes for this one. It's a long time until the release date, but a quick look at the logo suggests a playful and bright movie with a distinctly entertaining vibe. Kevin Feige has made it clear that Marvel is dealing with the creative side, as they hired Tom Holland, and that they’re orchestrating his introduction into the MCU continuity. So, it should amount to a lot more than just a cheap rights-sharing plan to slap the Marvel logo on an old product. And as an added bonus, it also has my idol, Gilfoyle from 'Silicon Valley'.

- Suicide Squad (2016)
Four new TV spots have just arrived, all of which show more of the movie's humourous side. It was being reported a while back that the unexpected success of 'Deadpool' had led to parts of this being reworked to add more jokes, but David Ayer has since denied that.- Supergirl
He's only confirmed to appear in two episodes at the moment, probably with a view to being in December's big showpiece crossover event too. I must say, I'm not actually familiar with his acting work, although there's no doubt that he looks the part.- General Celebrity Gossip
Tragic loss. The guy had such a future in acting, and to find out that it was nothing more than a freak accident only makes it all the more heartbreaking.- UEFA Euro 2016
France and Switzerland safely through, then. I suspect that the manufacturers of Switzerland's kit would have had more questions to answer than either manager after the game. I was willing Payet's volley to go flying in though, what a special goal that would have been. Well played Albania, who must be in with a decent chance of making the knockouts now. Their goal difference isn't the greatest, so they'll need other results to go for them, but all look possible. If Sweden and Ireland fail to beat Belgium and Italy, and then either Czech Republic and Turkey draw, or Germany beat Northern Ireland, it'll be enough for them.- UEFA Euro 2016
I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the next game, but for the time being, he'll have to make do with a crap-trick (hitting the woodwork, missing a penalty and having a goal ruled out for offside) instead. Portugal as a team have been suffering from being basically set up as Team Ronaldo for a while now, often to the point where their forward play is disrupted because they try too hard to feed him the ball.- UEFA Euro 2016
Best seat in the house, @Stromboli1 Did you enjoy the game?- UEFA Euro 2016
You wait ages for a match where someone scores three goals and then two come along at once. It was all a bit easy for Spain last night, but they probably gave the best performance at the tournament so far. Most worryingly for all the other sides with aspirations of winning it, it looks like there's a lot more where that came from. A comprehensive win for Belgium that should, at the very least, lift the mood in the squad. Especially Lukaku, who took his two goals well after a really poor showing against Italy. If they could consistently play like they did in the second half, they could still go far. Much more cohesion and intensity. And they have the most beautiful kit.- UEFA Euro 2016
Croatia are one of the best footballing sides in the tournament and probably deserved to win that game. It's a real shame that the disturbance happened. From what I hear, corruption is rife within the Croatian FA so it's perhaps understandable that there's discontent among certain sections of the supporters, although obviously, this was an unforgivable way of drawing attention to it. UEFA, if they punish anyone in Croatia for this, should punish the flare-throwing individuals and the corrupt officials. If they don't, the only losers will be the players and the real fans there to get behind them. Highlight of the actual football was undoubtedly Corluka's patriotic swimming cap. It looked like the kind of getup you'd see a lifeguard wearing on Bondi beach.- UEFA Euro 2016
Shades of the Divine Ponytail in Eder's goal. Pretty tedious stuff though for the most part. Italy lack attacking options, but that Juve backline is something else. All the other teams will be having nightmares about facing them in the knockouts. Sweden looked like they were willing to gamble on three draws being enough to get them out of the group. They'll have to try and force the issue against Belgium now, which should make for a more open game.- UEFA Euro 2016

Had a look at the first two episodes and to be honest, I'm already on the verge of switching it off. For a show that was always built around creepy charm, weird mystery and subverting expectations, it feels so plodding and predictable. - Suicide Squad (2016)
