Blade Runner 2049
Mackenzie Davis' character reminds me so much of Pris, I get the impression that she and the other guy could perhaps be followers of Roy Batty. So based on that, Rutger would be my guess too. Either him or a younger version of Deckard. I didn't care much for Leto's take on the Joker in Suicide Squad, but some of the cast did give fun performances. Perhaps give it a try if you've got nothing to do on a Sunday evening and it comes on TV.

Any celeb that everyone says is hot but who you think is unattractive
The best thing about Kristen was that she had (and probably still has, I'm not too sure ) that really angular face, which was always great for edgy editorial work. I don't really think Lily has inherited that, but she does have a similarly provocative and confrontational kind of look.

You know how sometimes in kids' cartoon shows, there's a storyline where the villain of the piece creates an evil, demonic-looking doppelganger of the hero? Lily McMenamy is basically that for Daphne Groeneveld.

Problems and Suggestions for BZ - Post Here
I see. I know there was a drop box option to narrow a search down to your current topic or search the whole forum, which doesn't look like it's there any more. But if you're visiting a thread, it should still be possible to type what you're looking for into the usual place and find all the relevant posts within said thread. Leave it with me though, I'll see if I can get to the bottom of it for you.

Sorry about that, the boss is aware of the issue and working on it.

Blade Runner 2049
Apparently, there were rumours that at least one of the original replicants might make an appearance in Rogue One-style CGI form. The character hanging out with Jared Leto actually reminds me a lot of Rachel, so that might rule her out. Then again, there are a few new characters in there who look quite a bit like the old ones. Incidentally, it's impossible to look at Jared Leto and not just see Jared Leto.

Blade Runner 2049
Watching the trailer again, it doesn't quite seem to have that sense of decay or the sort of grimy realism that gave the first movie such a distinctive look and made it so compelling as a spectacle. It's most jarring in the scene where Gosling first meets up with Ford, parts of the place look spotless. I always found it a bit ambiguous in terms of how densely populated the city space really was. Some areas looked very crowded and others, like Sebastian's building, seemed almost completely abandoned.

I hope you're not including my sister Ekatarina Dupanova in that.

Blade Runner 2049
Even the briefest of cameos would be cool to see, despite the apparent blacklisting of Sean Young by Hollywood. The original movie really wouldn't have been the same without her.

What do you think our chances are of getting a surprise appearance by Rachel in this one?

Blade Runner 2049
I know what you mean. The trailer has a definite 'prestige action movie' feel to it, whereas the original worked more because of its empty, quiet moments. The story is still relatively mysterious, though, and I do like that. It teases us and tells us nothing at the same time.

Blade Runner 2049
Looks like it's going to be shot beautifully, which I suppose isn’t too much of a surprise considering the talent involved. I’m cautiously optimistic, since one of the main strengths of the original was the deliberate and measured pacing, that the action stuff they're emphasising in the trailer is a little less prominent in the full movie.

Wonder Woman (2017)
Looking at this new trailer and comparing it to the Spider-Man one that was only recently released, I'd have to say that while this clip has so much more action (not to mention heavy metal guitar riffs), the other has a level of dialogue and character acting that feels better executed. I'll probably still end up seeing both though, just to compare and contrast.

Mad Max: Fury Road
I'll be seeing that as soon as I can too, will meet you in the Covenant thread afterwards. It sounds at the moment like Logan will be the next film in line to receive the black and white treatment, which seems like a bit of a pointless exercise to me. I mean, I enjoyed it immensely but it's technically a weaker film, and I suspect black and white will only serve to highlight that. Quite honestly, I'm already sort of hoping that isn't the start of a new trend where Hollywood, having found cinemagoers less and less keen to pay a mark up for the 'delights' of 3D, hits upon the wheeze of charging people a second time to watch the same movie again in monochrome.

Dunkirk 2017
I see this being pitched somewhere between the ordeal sequence of Saving Private Ryan and the large-scale beach sequence in Atonement, with Nolan able to indulge his eye for extravagant spectacle. Since it won't need to be crammed with tons of exposition in the way that something like Inception was, I think he'll be quite economical with the dialogue.

Bearing in mind that none of your posts have been removed or even edited, I'm a little confused as to why you'd think my 'clean up' message was in any way directed towards you.

@an Alien It's time to draw a line under the current discussion, as we appear to be veering way off-topic here. All those who'd like to continue it, please do so off the board or via PM. Marvel's The Inhumans
On closer inspection, I actually think the wig has been Photoshopped that colour, which tells me that the show is probably still refining a lot of things before they start shooting. As a first image, it doesn't inspire much confidence, but we're going to have to wait until we've got all the elements. Ramsay Bolton as Maximus is good casting though.

- Dunkirk 2017
The latest full trailer has been released. Interestingly, without the drab, undersaturated colour palettes that WWII epics often seem to have, it feels that little bit more realistic to me.- Marvel's The Defenders

Hopefully this is just a placeholder and they've yet to finalise the design of Medusa's hair, because it looks pretty grim there. You have to think it'll look better in motion and with all the effects added, but first impressions and all that. - I want to change my nickname/username - READ FIRST POST PRIOR TO REQUESTING
