I'm doing well, thanks :) We're having a bit of a heatwave over here at the moment, although I've been stuck indoors for most of it :D How have you been?

Oh wow! I wish I could see it too, but I don't think we get SNL here. They were playing live on TV last night but I switched it on too late to see them. I just found out that 'Sex on Fire' is number 1 in the UK charts too!

They're certainly a treat for anyone with eyes! Only really heard the one track up to now though, so I'm still undecided about jumping on the bandwagon. How about you?

I do graphic design and some web stuff, part time for a small local record company (making posters, magazine ads, that sort of thing) and part time freelance. It's not as much fun as it sounds but I've learned a lot and the people are nice. :)

Oh, well I hope you're doing better soon. I have to say, the Strokes single is starting to sound rather fantastic, though Julian's vocal surprised me at first. If you haven't heard it, it's posted in the Music of 2011 thread. :)

I'm tired but pretty good, thanks - I think I need a summer holiday soon (although it doesn't feel like we've had a real summer yet this year). So do you have good seats for the concert? I bet it's a huge venue for Madonna!
