Leonardo DiCaprio - (Please Read First Post Prior to Posting)
Another quick reminder, guys. For general DiCaprio discussion (comments about his love life, unverified gossip etc), please refer to the designated topic instead of this one.

Candice Swanepoel
Thread cleaned. A reminder to be aware of the thin line between expressing opinions/constructive criticism (which we're okay with) and baiting/bashing (which we’re not okay with). This is not limited to the celebrities featured here, it also includes your fellow members. If there are personal issues that you want to get into, that's fine, but do it off the board or via PM. You know as well as I do that it doesn't belong in the model topics.

How did you find out about BELLAZON?
We usually just call him Maddog.

Do You Believe?
I think tensions within the band had probably been mounting for many years, but that Yoko's presence perhaps sped up the process of them calling it quits. Do you believe that Nicki Minaj is just Jay-Z sped up?

Do You Believe?
I'd consider it more of a sound collage/studio piece, but I guess it could be argued that the different sections are like verses and choruses. Do you believe that the original Paul McCartney died in a car crash?

Do You Believe?
I would have to believe if we were, Roger Federer would have won the US Open. Do you believe in karma?

Perhaps Gareth Southgate, after eking out that result against Malta, is a better manager than I gave him credit for. Then again, I never really rated Didier Deschamps at the highest level of management either. Such a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal, but seemingly so incapable of setting up a fluid starting eleven.

Deus ex (series)
I actually found the most recent Deus game a wee bit overrated, but some of the features in the earlier games were really cool. I loved being able to build up the 'Augs' carefully, because strengthening in one area usually came at the expense of another, and those choices led to different strategies. Somewhere along the line, it might have been in Human Revolution, it became a bit easier to get all the Augs before the end of the game, so although there was more variety on offer, I missed the emphasis on strategy a little. Still though, some of my fondest gaming memories are from playing Invisible War.

- Iron Man (2008)
It was really interesting too to read about Jon Favreau doing a lot of improvisational stuff on set. Apparently, Marvel's executives were freaked out by it, but it ended up becoming a better movie than what was scripted. There's a famous quote that does the rounds now from Downey about the situation, "Listen, smile, agree, and then do whatever the f*** you were gonna do anyway."- Iron Man (2008)
It's strange to think now that Iron Man was never really considered a major player in the Marvel stable before this movie's release. Whoever decided to cast Downey as Tony Stark deserves a medal, it was an inspired choice right from the start and so key in elevating the property to where it is now. Also, Jeff Bridges is simply fantastic as the villain of the piece. I'm a bit sad now that they killed Obadiah Stane off, because I wouldn't have minded seeing more of the character.- Iron Man (2008)
After pondering a revisit of all the MCU properties in the run-up to Infinity War, I decided to give Iron Man '08 a watch for the first time in years. I was actually a bit surprised at how well it holds up. Still one of the best Marvel movies to date.- Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
I'm imagining this as Marvel's take on the classic Lethal Weapon-style 'buddy movie' genre with Loki as Joe Pesci. It's also going to be the shortest MCU movie to date at 100 minutes. Just going by the trailers, there's a fair bit to get through so I would expect it to be really tightly plotted and paced. What's interesting is that quite a lot of the dialogue was supposedly improvised on set, which you'd think could extend things, but I'm guessing it was all quick stuff and they were still able to edit it how they wanted.- Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Also, the international trailer boasting some different footage of Hela, Loki, Valkyrie and probably the most fearsome version of Thor we’ve seen up to now. There's a glimpse of another familiar face right at the beginning too, so don't click if you don't want to know.- Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
- Trumpland U.S.A
It's hard not to see parallels there with the 2010 UK election, where a lot of people voted Lib Dem because they felt disillusioned with Labour. Although I suspect if you asked them about it now, they'd likely see it as a waste. I think going forward, we're going to be seeing an increase in tactical voting, particularly in the US where things are becoming ever more polarised. The public will be more engaged than in years gone by, but probably motivated more by trying to keep the opposing party out of office than electing a candidate they actually want.- Candice Swanepoel
Thread cleaned. Most of you guys have kept it civil so far on what can be a rather contentious issue, which I appreciate, however I must respectfully ask that we call time on the discussion as we're getting too far off-topic. If anyone wants to continue it, please do so off the board or via PM. Any and all subsequent off-topic posts will be removed.- Football
So far, I'm unsure what to think about Martinez at international level. He seems to have this Belgian side playing much more direct football, which isn't something I'd usually associate with him. Still, outside of the Spain game, I suppose he hasn't really had to face many major tests yet.- Indiana Jones 5 (2022)
In all seriousness, although I haven't seen it for a long time, I feel like there were probably worse things in Indy 4 than LaBeouf. He certainly wasn't necessary to the plot, but he didn't irritate me as much as Ray Winstone and John Hurt did. There was a decent dynamic in the first half of the film that was missing in the second, partly because they kept introducing more and more characters, with everyone needing something to do.- Indiana Jones 5 (2022)
So, I think we should kick this topic off with some good news via Entertainment Weekly, who talked to screenwriter David Koepp about his work on Indy 5. Shia LaBeouf’s Mutt Williams will not be returning.- Marvel's The Inhumans
It seems the major complaint so far has been how pedestrian the production values are in relation to how grandiose the show wants to be. For whatever reason, ABC/Disney seems reluctant to sink major money into its TV shows. Although I suppose to be fair, a lot of superhero shows perhaps haven’t quite pulled in the kind of ratings that justify huge budgets.- Changing the name of a topic
Looks like it. Either that or her parents gave her a full name they thought would really stand out. Done.- I want to change my nickname/username - READ FIRST POST PRIOR TO REQUESTING
