FIFA World Cup 2010
Van Bommel's cynicism was so shameless and obvious that my annoyance has almost crossed over into admiration these past few weeks. You have to grudgingly tip your hat to him for somehow managing to turn kicking, hacking, diving and just generally getting away with murder into an art form. :|

Lingerie/Undergarment ect. Commercial Competition
Sloggi - 2 Quite liked the simplicity of the setting and it fit the brand well. Did drag on a bit though. VS - 4 Gisele looks great, but minus points for the shadowy figure approaching her towards the end. For a moment there, I thought a murder was about to take place. :| Incanto - 2.5 Too similar to VS to be particularly memorable, but not bad.

FIFA World Cup 2010
Dirk Kuyt is right to point the finger of blame at Howard Webb for Iniesta's goal. If he'd given out red cards when they were warranted, the game would have been abandoned long before extra time. Anyway, pleased Spain won. The thought of Khalid Boulahrouz and Andre Ooijer as World Cup winners was always a hard sell for me.

Calvin Klein - 4 Well made, but a little overboard on that grainy black and white style. Like Darth Vader, it was a bit on the dark side. C & A - 2.5 Started off alright, but spoilt slightly by the jarring graphics at the end. Wasn't too keen on the voiceover either. Emporio Armani - 1 Odd one. Didn't appear to be advertising anything but Megan, and I'm not a fan.

FIFA World Cup 2010
Not a problem eNe, conversation is what this place is all about. Admittedly, Spain haven't been as pleasing to the eye this year. Adding Busquets to the mix with Alonso already out there seems to have cramped their style somewhat, and I believe Del Bosque has come under fire for being needlessly defensive. Perhaps rightly so - from a purist's point of view, you don't need a ball winner in the midfield when you never lose possession. The pure neutral enjoyment has been stifled slightly, and the relentless measured passing can get a little frustrating when not accompanied by goals, but if their build-up play had been matched with ruthless finishing, no-one would have any hesitation in calling Spain worthy World Cup winners.
