Continent's choice
I know nothing of her music or movies but (and this is where I blow my cover) Europe 3.5

Lingerie/Undergarment ect. Commercial Competition
VS - 3 Very slick. The girls looked great and it fit the product well but overall, the ad wasn't terribly memorable. Sloggi - 3 Strange one. It looked like a cheesy europop video from the mid 90s but for some reason, I found it quite eye-catching. :| Triumph - 2.5 I'm always wary of ads that include misguided attempts at acting, but this one wasn't too bad. The puzzle thing was slightly odd, though.

Fine by me. Since the final scores are presented as an average, the ads we'll be voting on in the future won't be placed at a disadvantage.

Always thought Tennant was great but when he left, he took Catherine Tate and Billie Piper with him. I was never really a fan of either, so I kind of saw that as a reasonable trade-off and consequently, didn't have any problems taking to Matt. Ophelia, about half the pics in the Karen Gillan thread have Matt on them too. I could post them in here if you'd like.- Football
Yep, that's him. If memory serves, he played four times in a couple of weeks for Ghana, though he did miss one of the group games after the old injuries flared up in training. There'd be question marks against him if he came back, but even if we could only get 20 games out of him, I'd still pay the money. He's been such a revelation alongside Michael Turner at the back that he'd be worth it. I think Hodgson was deserving of a chance to manage one of the big clubs. He knows the game inside out and he'll be better off at Liverpool than getting shafted by the England players and having his life's work undone. A lot will depend on who he's able to bring in, I guess. The spine of the team is still excellent but there's a lot of rebuilding to do and not a great deal of time for a clearout.- Football
If Campbell joins he'll probably replace John Mensah, who'll be heading back to Lyon. We had him on loan last season and he was absolutely fantastic for us - trouble is, he's not capable of playing in every game because of ongoing back and knee knack (think Ledley King but worse). Lyon won't budge on their valuation of £8m, and Bruce won't pay it without guarantees about fitness. It's a real shame for him, when injury-free he looks a genuine world-class player. Sounds like Jerome Boateng is headed to City too. It's lucky they're rolling in money, what with the new 25-man squad rule. Are you happy with Hodgson then, Ed?- Matt Smith
I like him. He lacks a little of Tennant's manic energy but the eccentric appeal and wit are still there in spades. Bow ties are cool. - Matt Smith
