  1. Mary Kay: 3.5 - Not half bad. Liked the constantly moving background a lot. Miss Dior: 2 - Top marks for production values, bottom marks for substance. Dior Addict: 1.5 - I expected to like this one a lot more than I did. Very well shot but generally unmemorable and too long by half. Bruna Avelain: 3.5 - The constant jumping from scene to scene was too jarring for my liking, though I'd imagine it would be quite effective in catching attention on TV.

^(Y) Though I do feel a little sorry for the Robin Pecknold lookalike and his friends.
  10. That and she's named after one of the symbols on a fruit/slot machine.
  11. Versace: 1.5 - Could have been advertising anything until the bottle was stuck on at the end as an afterthought. One and a half points for Edita. Cover Girl: 4 - I can't honestly say I'm a Swift fan but the ad had nice vibrant colouring and mildly eccentric touches in all the right places. Olay: 3 - Brief and to the point, with very cool effects. Minus points for the music and the distinctly OTT voiceover. Angel: 2.5 - Very well made with more cool effects. Though it didn't drag too much, the ad seemed to stretch about five seconds worth of thought over a minute.

  13. 2.5 - but I will admit to thinking it was Iggy Pop for a split second.

If you squint your eyes a bit, the current under-21 championship could be a major tournament. The Spanish are as easy on the eye as their senior counterparts and England are as tactically inept, technically inferior and generally crap as theirs.
  22. ^They had me going for a while but the final minute has a distinct 'Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka' feel about it.
