    Hard to figure out what went wrong for Roger there. Towards the end of the Tsonga match, he wasn't nearly as into it as I would have expected and looked like he couldn't get out of cruise control. I still think he's capable of winning another major though. And poor Murray. As if being around in the same era as two of the best players of all time wasn't bad enough, he's been completely surpassed by Djokovic this year as well. Sucks to be fourth in the world, it would seem.

Apparently, we've signed a highly rated young striker, a midfielder who scored 11 Premier League goals last season and a wide player known for his quality delivery from set pieces. Yeah, right! Whatever next? A specialist left-back?

  20. Tsvetana Pironkova Tsvetana Kirilova Pironkova (born 13 September 1987) is a female Bulgarian tennis player. She was born and lives in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Pironkova is right-handed and plays with a two-handed backhand. She achieved her career high of world no. 31 on 13 September 2010. She is best known for defeating Venus Williams three times at Grand Slam tournaments, and is currently the Bulgarian No. 1, with six ITF titles in her career. Early life and Junior career Pironkova was born in 1987 to Kiril Enchev Pironkov, a former canoeing champion and Radosveta Chinkova Nikolova, a former swimming champion. She started playing tennis at the age of 4, when her father Kiril introduced her to the game. At the age of six, she started playing in junior tournaments in Bulgaria. Kiril later became her coach. In 2001, Pironkova won the Atlantic Cup International Junior Tournament held in Bulgaria, and her career high in juniors was world no. 227 on 25 March 2002. 2011 Tsvetana's first tournament of 2011 was in Moorilla Hobart International where she lost to Peng Shuai of China in the first round. In the Australian Open Pironkova fell the in second round to Romanian Monica Niculescu. In the 2011 French Open Tsvetana was seeded 32nd. She lost to Gisela Dulko, the Argentine, in the second round. Pironkova entered Wimbledon as No. 32 seeded. In the third round Tsvetana defeated world No. 3 and second-seeded Vera Zvonareva 6–2 and 6–3, thus avenging her loss in the semifinals of the last year's Wimbledon. In the fourth round of Wimbledon, she beat former champion Venus Williams 6–2 6–3, which was the same scoreline as their previous meeting in 2010's Wimbledon Championships. In the quarterfinals, she lost to Petra Kvitova, 6–3, 6–7, 6–2.
