If not for some terrific 'keeping by Joe Hart and some poor finishing (particularly from the otherwise superb Lewandowski) then Dortmund would have taken and undoubtedly deserved at least a 5-0 victory. Balotelli's borderline-perverse enjoyment of high-pressure situations always makes for compulsive viewing, but it was a true logic-buster to penalise such an obviously accidental handball. Had the penalty not been given to a Premier League club at the expense of Johnny Foreigner, the referee would have been absolutely panned for that one. You only have to look at how far the ball travels before hitting the defender's arm. So anyway, I think it's same to assume that Hart has already used up his weekly allocation of good saves. By all rights, he should be terrible on Saturday. All we have to worry about is getting near the goal.

^Thanks Don. That link was blocked for me, but after your tip-off that it was streaming, it wasn't too hard to then find a UK-centric one. (Y) Karen O is back! This one is from the soundtrack of Disney's forthcoming 'Frankenweenie' film.

It’s a very stylised interpretation, which probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it a lot. Some of the book's themes of politics and social affairs felt as if they were glossed over somewhat (presumably because of time constraints), while it did well by the story's core issues. Standout for me was Jude Law, I don't really consider myself a fan, but I thought he gave a terrific performance. Had a hard time buying Kick-Ass as a Russian cavalry officer, though. He seemed rather wet and his moustache was absolutely ludicrous.

Sounds like Javier (as Raoul Silva) got an ever-so-slightly better deal than Mathieu Amalric in the character naming stakes. The Bond flicks have produced some of the most iconic names in movie history and the best they could come up with for poor Mathieu in 'Quantum' was Dominic Green.

I went last weekend (it came out in early September on this side of the pond) and spotted an older couple dancing all the way to the theatre exit afterwards. Faith in humanity temporarily restored.
