Audrey Hepburn [7] Claudia Cardinale [1]- Continent's choice
Once upon a time it would have been a 5, but I've lost interest in recent years. Europe: 2.5- Looper (2012)
I still haven't seen it, but I found this quite interesting - it's kind of a rough concept trailer for the movie, created to generate investment at what I'm guessing would have been a pretty early stage in it's development. It mixes stock footage, movie footage ('Seven' and 'Bladerunner' being noticeable ones), and animation.- Once Upon a Time
I've seen maybe half the first season so far. It's probably a bit 'high-concept' for the UK timeslot it was in, but it's much better than I would have ever given it credit for.- The Last Word
Only joking... Water Song / Aerosmith- Fringe
Hopefully it gets better as it goes on and ends well. I'd really like to remember the show fondly when it's all over with, and if the big conclusion (assuming there is one) were to leave a bitter taste, it'd be a great shame.- The Last Word
Water Wonderful World / Louis Armstrong- The Last Word
Cross Over The Bridge / Patti Page- Last movie you saw...
Strange, I know. I'm not at all educated in the Potter universe so I couldn't tell you the reason for the change, I just remember a story doing the rounds back then that the scenes mentioning the stone were filmed twice - once with the actors saying 'Sorcerer's' for the US audience and once with them saying 'Philosopher's' for the UK.- Fringe
S5 isn't starting until the 24th of October here in the UK but apparently, waiting that extra four weeks will enable Sky to air it in an unbroken weekly run, which I guess is a fair trade-off. By my calculations, we'll have caught up to the show's US pace by the end of November. Can't wait!- Last movie you saw...
No clue as to why, but I think it's known as 'Philosopher's Stone' in the UK (and I'm guessing elsewhere in Europe too) and 'Sorcerer's Stone' in the US.- Survival of the fittest competition

^I did like Goldeneye a lot, though I must say, the three follow-ups with Pierce Brosnan did absolutely nothing for me. Broadly speaking, I find the Bond movies to be a pretty mixed bag and from what I’ve seen, even the most beloved Connery-era stuff is very much of its time. So if you do feel like checking out the older efforts, my advice would to be judge with a sizeable grain of salt.- Football

^Any kind of over-the-top praise by a commentator towards a player has become known as 'the Gareth Bale treatment' in my house, such is his current golden boy status in the media. I'm no fan of Suarez either but the current 'guilty until proven innocent' attitude towards him is quite the contrast and quite the double standard, particularly after Bale virtually bragged about getting players sent off in a recent interview... I think what I'd like to see in future (though obviously, it could only be done with the aid of video evidence) would be the right for managers to 'challenge' potential game-changing decisions, as seen in tennis. If the player is found to have blatantly dived, give him a straight red card - instant punishment and justice for the team he's cheated. The retrospective ban idea isn't a terrible one, but I suspect certain players would still see diving as a risk worth taking, depending on the importance of future fixtures. I mean, you might think twice about taking a tumble in the box if your next game was a do-or-die affair, but I can't imagine a player hesitating to hit the deck for an advantage in an early-season Manchester derby if the game he'd be suspended for was a cup tie on a wet evening in Colchester.- The Last Word
Warning Sign / Coldplay- Lorraine Pascale
Had the odd glimpse of Lorraine's cooking show but I had no clue that her background was in modelling. Finger on the pulse, as usual! - Favorite Female Movie Character
