Here's the mini-epic video for new song 'Ride', a late entry for best of 2012, maybe. The song isn't 'Video Games' (she's probably destined to suffer that unfair comparison forever), but it has the same sombre feel that all her best stuff does. Believe it or not, she's a surprisingly good actress too. The whole 'fake' argument is one that I've never had much time for, if I'm honest. Pop stars have been creating artistic personas for as long as pop music has been around.

That I'd be very interested to see, though quite honestly I'd be more than happy if Sam Mendes were to stay on for at least another couple. Evidently, Daniel Craig is signed up for two more movies as well, which is great. Recent gossip also seems to be citing a certain Mr. Cumberbatch as strong favourite to play the villain next time around - sounds like fun, but as big a fan as I am of Benedict, I'd probably go with Christian Bale or Tom Hardy in full-blown insanity mode if I had my ultimate pick for a future Bond baddie. A possible Nolan tie-in there? Ah yes, a very nice touch that...
