Since a running theme of the comics (at least, what few Thor comics I've read) is Thor endlessly giving Loki second chances and Loki throwing them back in his face, I'm hoping the movies follow suit. Fingers crossed for more Shakespearian insults too.

When he's finished sitting in jail looking like Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, I was thinking maybe he'll be enlisted by Thor to help protect Jane in some way. The brief mountain scene at 0:52 gave the impression that they were travelling to some far-flung hiding place. Whatever happens, I hope this movie doesn't represent the end of Loki's story.
Lewandowski was absolutely fantastic, but for me the man of the match was Gundogan. Based off the few times I've seen Dortmund play this season, he looks like a real star. Confident on the ball, always looking to move forward and quick and athletic enough to cover vast spaces. He and Bender ripped the heart out of a Madrid midfield assembled at massive expense.

Playing against one of the strongest and most in-form teams on the planet with a half-fit Messi up front and a largely untested kid at the back was always going to be a daunting task; throw in bits of officiating that should be unforgivable in the Champions League and you're adding insult to injury. Still, there can be no doubt that Bayern were good value for the win. Barca are and will continue to be a tremendous side, but we may all come to see that in a slightly more reserved context in the near future. The pressing game that used to be so evident in their defensive play seems decidedly lacking these days, and it's fast becoming a serious issue in games at the highest level.
The first Thor movie was an immensely enjoyable story, with an energy and depth that I would never have expected. Looking forward to seeing what they've come up with for the sequel. Quite excited to see Christopher Eccleston as one of the villains too. He always strikes me as one of those actors who, even if the material they have to work with isn't the best, just always seems to be on good form.
