Mannone's desperate slow-mo attempts at keeping the 'shot' out were agonising to watch, and the error may have quelled any thoughts of the great escape being a slim possibility again, but it would be a shame if that moment was remembered as any kind of season-defining one. It's been such a comedy of errors since the word go, and Vito is one of the few members of the squad who deserves to emerge from this dismal campaign with any credit whatsoever. Just seen the Bale goal from last night, absolutely stunning. If he'd tried running off the pitch against us though, someone would probably have chucked a pie at him.

Connor Wickham settles the title race - now there's a sentence I never thought I'd type. A convincing impersonation of a team capable of survival tonight, but the reality is that it's too little, too late. It's just possible though that Poyet is still the right man to lead us in the Championship (cringe!) next season.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Thanks Raf! How curious that Diego Maradona and Shakira are on the Mexican list. I'll now be heartbroken if 'Age of Ultron' doesn't include a Thai food equivalent of the shawarma scene.

Emma Stone
Awww, her little face on The Graham Norton Show when he made her think the Spice Girls were coming on.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Forgot to mention it before, but it was really fun seeing Batroc make an appearance at the beginning. He was an obscure and very over-the-top French villain with a foolish costume and ludicrous moustache. The movie paid homage to him by toning down his costume but letting him keep his signature colours.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Surely 'Neighbours' should have been ahead of Skippy on the Australian list? I hadn't heard about the shots being localised for different territories until just the other day, although I did wonder at the time why an American hero would have England's World Cup victory in 1966 down as one of his main things to catch up on. I'd be most interested now to find out how many different ones they made, and what was on them.

Real lead track from Lana Del Rey's 'Ultraviolence' (turned out that last one was an old song falsely identified as new), with the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach on production duty. Rather magnificent.

X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
I haven't seen it yet, unfortunately. It's a bit of a surprise to hear that Quicksilver is being used for endorsements though, all signs seemed to point to him having a relatively modest role in the movie. Not that that's a bad thing, he looks like a member of Smashing Pumpkins circa 'Zeitgeist'.

Oh Luis Figo (who made the draw), how could you? Would have much preferred it for Mourinho to face either his old club Real Madrid or his old mate Guardiola and get stuffed. Champions League semi-final draw Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea Europa League semi-final draw Sevilla vs Valencia Benfica vs Juventus

Some of the recent off-the-field issues at Barca must have the fans seriously doubting the sanity of those running the club. Martino would do well to consider taking a job with Argentina’s national team, for a comparatively quiet time.
