Terminator Genisys
At this rate, explaining everything is going to eat up about two thirds of the film's running time... So, Sarah is essentially now in John's role, which means John doesn't exist any more, and she's younger and there's an older Terminator who watches over her, and it's the original one from the first movie that hunted her when she was an adult, and there's another Terminator on a motorbike and...

Terminator Genisys
Presumably, once Reese is sent back to a point predating his introduction in T1, the timeline shifts and everything is new. Basically a JJ Abrams Star Trek vibe, only with less lens flare. Given that the studios look to be working their way through franchises from the late eighties and early nineties, you wonder how long it'll be before they consider giving the same treatment to something like Harry Potter or Twilight.

Undisputed surprise package this year. Her look and laid back charm puts me in mind of a young(er) Maryna.

Football
You always expect criticism after a defeat, although the sheer volume of it was a bit surprising on Wednesday night. Losing to the Premier League champions isn’t going to horrifically damage our season - it would have been nice to have continued our little streak of home wins against them, but realistically, that was never going to last. Highly dubious decision to include Coates, though. He was thrown in at the deep end and unfortunately it showed.

Suicide Squad (2016)
Quite surprising that they're willing to go there with the Joker so soon, although I'm sure if anyone can pull that off, it's Leto. Somebody up there must really like Jai Courtney, chance after chance in big movie franchises (Die Hard, Divergent and Terminator) despite the fact that audiences have yet to warm to him. Still, he's going to be a secondary character and he won't have to put on a fake Aussie accent, which I suppose is something. And nothing against Will Smith, but I can't see him playing Deadshot as Deadshot. The character will likely be completely adapted into a Will Smith character, which would be a bit of a disservice to the source material. Jada probably played a part in him taking it, though. In addition to her 'Gotham' role, she's said to be a huge DC geek.

Terminator Genisys
I'm apathetic about the premise but all things considered, they've delivered a decent trailer. Although, at the risk of being burned alive by vengeful dragons, I really don't rate Emilia Clarke as an actress. In the next movie, Arnold goes back in time to stop himself from having that affair with his maid. Instead, he ends up having the affair with himself.

Karlie Kloss
Karlie must have been re-watching the opening ceremony of the London Olympics, she was waving her cape around like an athlete carrying their country's flag.

Eniko Mihalik
Pretty sure Eniko was my favourite this year. :wub2: Almost didn't recognise her at first though, it's been ages since I last saw her on the runway.

Bregje's body is preposterous, total waste just to give her the one look. Still, always leave them wanting more and all that.

Bellazon's Nudity Policy
I understand the argument and to be honest, I don’t disagree. However, the problem that would almost certainly arise, is that making distinctions between types of nudity isn't easy, and is open to interpretation. Out-and-out pornography is rarely hard to spot, but the line between edgy and exploitative can become very blurred at times. What one member of staff might consider to be quite salacious, another might consider relatively tame. Plus, nudity isn't actually banned as such. All we ask is that posters ‘spoiler tag’ it, as a courtesy for the folks who may not want to see it.

Football
À plus tard Eden Hazard, adeus Oscar - http://www.gfycat.com/ComposedCleanGemsbuck I said before the Chelsea game that we needed every single one of our players, many of whom are potentially decent but rarely perform as a collective, to do just that in order to get something. Well, blow me down if that wasn't exactly what happened. Nicely done lads, all you need now is to do the exact same thing tomorrow night.

Football
I honestly dread to think what would have become of us without old Royston's timely intervention back in 2006, but he seems to be reaching borderline dangerous levels of self-parody these days. Citing his commitments to the Republic as reason to walk the day before a Premier League game would have been preposterous at the best of times, never mind when there are no more international fixtures until March. He probably took the job on the understanding that he'd be Lerner's go-to guy when the chop came for Paul Lambert, only to lose patience after Lambert's contract extension. Either that or he's flying out to join the rest of the 'I'm A Celebrity' cast.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens
All very exciting, feels decidedly 'retro' Star Wars. You can already tell that it's not directed by Lucas, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Liked seeing the various spaceships doing stuff on a planet rather than in space. Quite like the cross-shaped sabers as well, I sense there'll be fewer hands getting cut off in this one. Not sure about the droid on top of a ball though, that seemed fairly random.

Bellazon's Top 100 Sexiest Women of 2014
Thanks to everyone who's voted so far, I love you all. Apologies to the folks nominating her, but I'm duty bound to disqualify Elle Fanning. At 16, she’s a couple of years short of our cut-off point. Feel free to edit your lists though, if you so wish.

Jurassic World
Nude dinosaurs? Disgusting! I think they're between a rock and a hard place with that one, to be honest. Whether they follow the latest scientific consensus or remain consistent with the movie narrative, they're guaranteed to upset someone. Perhaps look for them to retcon the lack of feathers into the script somewhere - "oh yeah, real dinosaurs had feathers but these ones don't because [insert genetic techno jargon here]".

Gotham
It's been a real mixed bag so far. There are a lot of things in it that objectively aren't that great, and it doesn't seem to have a clue whether it wants to be a serious cop procedural, a dark adventure or a light-hearted spoof. In a weird way that's quite fun because you never know what it's going to hit you in the face with next, but I think the best case scenario is that the good stuff is good enough to make the weaker bits forgivable. I suppose one of the biggest problems, from more of a long-term perspective, is that the story will have to arrive at a point where Gordon has no chance of winning his war against the criminals of the city. If he's able to arrest most of them over the course of a season or six, then Wayne's eventual decision to become Batman can't really be justified.
