Marvel's Daredevil
Marvel's Daredevil, or simply Daredevil, is an American web television series created for Netflix by Drew Goddard, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise, and is the first in a series of shows that will lead up to a Defenders crossover miniseries. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, DeKnight Prods. and Goddard Textiles, with Steven S. DeKnight serving as showrunner, and Goddard acting as consultant. Charlie Cox stars as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, a lawyer-by-day who fights crime at night. The series chronicles the character's early days fighting crime, juxtaposed with the rise of crime lord Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D'Onofrio. Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Bob Gunton, Ayelet Zurer, and Rosario Dawson also star. Daredevil entered development in late 2013, a year after the film rights to the character reverted to Marvel, with Goddard initially hired in December 2013. DeKnight replaced him as showrunner and Cox was hired to star in May 2014. Filming began in New York City that July, with production ending in December. All episodes of the first season premiered on April 10, 2015. The series was released to critical acclaim, with critics praising the action sequences, performances, and the darker tone compared to other properties set in the MCU.

Mad Men
Great episode to kick off the show's farewell tour, although it certainly made for eerie, and at times uncomfortable viewing. The seventies hyper-sleaze and overall sexism of the episode was abundant, it's almost as if we're right back to where the show began. And get a load of those moustaches. :yuckky: Roger and Pete are sure to get their comeuppance now. Roger's initial treatment of Ken reminded me of how he sacked Burt Peterson and Freddie Rumsen all those years ago.

True Detective
If memory serves, the German accents were almost all hilarious in that. Although I quite enjoyed it overall. It's starting to feel like TD is becoming the place to be for actors looking to get their teeth into something a little more challenging. I could easily see McAdams stealing the show, Kitsch is a lot better than he's given credit for and Farrell can be good when he's on form. Vaughn seems like the wild card here, but what do I know, I thought the same thing about Matthew McConaughey once upon a time. One of the most impressive things about S1 was the atmosphere it was able to create, you could have cut it with a knife. I wonder if they'll be able to replicate that, or even if they'll try to, in what appears to be a fairly standard police procedural location.

The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
Thanks Raf. I had to look at it for a while until I started to recognise Bettany, even though the character seems to have more of a human look to him than I was expecting. Maybe now he'll actually watch one of the films.

True Detective
It's a real struggle to think of a more underrated actress working in Hollywood right now than McAdams, she's just spent far too long playing girlfriends and token females. In a project like this, I'm certain she'll kill it.

Football
Another post-derby horror show to add to our ever growing collection. The competitive edge we showed last week was nowhere to be seen today, and we folded like a pack of cards as soon as the first goal went in. I’m not sure there’s another club in world football that can take you from euphoria to despair in such a short space of time, or capitulate in such dreadful fashion so often over the course of a season.

Speaking from a completely self-serving perspective, I was pulling for Villa as a home win would have been a virtual hammer blow to QPR's hopes of catching either of us. A few weeks ago I had 34 down as the target for survival and now it seems there's been something of a surge, but I'm hoping we can ride the wave of renewed optimism for just long enough to scrape what we need. Preferably with time to spare, I don't like the look of our last two games one bit. Barnstorming game though, and fitting that Benteke was the one who salvaged the point. I'm sure Timbo will be claiming to have given the lad his first team debut soon enough.

Weirdly belated I know, but I guess we now have confirmation that it was in fact Linda Cardellini.- The X-Files
Two more original cast members confirmed to return by Squire Duchovny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-WWoxdGKLI- Rock is alive!
Here's a good one for fans of old-style British punk and primitive garage riffs. Not to be confused with the American hardcore band of the same name.- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
According to Collider (who are usually pretty reliable), the first trailer for 'BvS' is going to be played before all screenings of another Warners blockbuster, 'Mad Max: Fury Road', next month.- Survival of the fittest competition
Petra Nemcova [9] Martha Hunt [4]- The X-Files
One has to move with the times. I wonder if Spender has switched to e-cigarettes yet? :atoobie:- Football

'Explosion' teaser clip. Not totally convinced that there's anything new to see, but here it is anyway.- Jurassic World
- X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
- The X-Files
Since they only have a run of six episodes to play with, I'm hoping it's just maximum Scully and Mulder, exploring dark rooms with torches (LED ones of course, to stay current ) and chasing people through the woods. Bring back the Lone Gunmen too! - The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
