(The girl on the right is Valeria Mazza, I think, and the girl in the center is of course Rebecca Romijn.) This shot was from the '94 SI, I believe, so she would have been probably about 16, no? That's young for SI!

One thing I would love to see SI do would to have a shot or two that are more provocative than usual, that sort of push the envelope towards toplessness (but are still tasteful and classy of course). I can't believe that there's been no progress in this area since the Cheryl Tiegs fishnet maillot shot 30 years ago! For instance like this shot that Rebecca did for GQ. I've never seen a scan of it that was HQ enough to break the Bellazon Rules, but if it was you'd see what I mean. What I love about it is that the way's it's set up, with her not facing the camera, it's like you're seeing that little crescent of pink by accident. Sexy. Except that you know damn well that it was not an accident, that they calculated to the millimeter how much they would show. Double sexy.

Definitely! The way she rolls those full shapely hips when she walks! For me, the great thing about her brand of sexiness is that she has warmth as well as hotness, if that makes any sense. That, and those wide shapely shoulders. A goddess of catwalk and catalog.

Agreed! I loved everything she did for VS. The most beautiful? Well, I can't choose! But she was definitely the sexiest. And the most versatile in her expressions.

I thought the blue dress she wore to the announcement was very figure-flattering. Attractively breast-separating, intriguingly wrappy-looking and great with heels. But I don't think a man is qualified to judge on dresses (unless he's a gay fashion designer. Wish I could find better pictures. She looks very happy. And he's losing his hair! So I guess everything has worked out for the best.
