  1. Love this. This dress is so beautiful - the sheer part at the knees and the solid part above makes it look short and long at the same time. She deserves it. There is no end to my love for Yasmeen.
  2. Well, I don't like her, but I do have to admit that those pictures of her in the flowing red bare-shoulder gown are simply STUNNING, and I've never seen anything like them. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! If she is indeed pregnant, she has just won the pregnancy beauty contest of the decade. See how fair-minded I am? I might start to like her after all...
  3. This is the picture where I first started to get into her, after not liking her at first. Partly because it's intriguing how part of her face is hidden, and partly because the decolletage is so lovely. Then I had to admit to myself that the face was lovely too. And that was the first beginnings of my obsession! (Eric Roberts, on the other hand, I can do without. )
  4. All painfully true. Her face is kind of hard-looking now. That stunning, luminous beauty she had in her twenties has departed. Some kinds of beauty which burn the most brightly, tend to burn out, alas. Still, she's aged better than some. (Jill Goodacre my God I can't bear to look at now - so depressing.) And I have seen some recent candids of her that were legitimate eye candy. We just need to clone her at 5 year intervals - then we'd be happy.
  5. Funny, sexy special-effects chocolate commercial where Cindy finds the chocolate so delicious that she accidentally licks off her mole! She's startled at first, then shrugs. Interesting to see her w/o it.
  6. Facing some tough competition here from The Most Beautiful Woman in the World (according to some). The first pic shows that she was indeed shorter: But her body had other advantages:
  7. Heavily, but exquisitely made-up: Very old-school Victoria's Secret (judging by the background): Very young, very 80's:
  8. I've always wondered if this shot was a fake. Does anyone know what show this was?
  9. The first one I knew by name? Probably Cheryl Tiegs, I remember her lovely fishnet maillot nippage shot causing a sensation. The first model I really got into was Paulina Porizkova - such a beauty. Then a little later, Cindy Crawford, who I hated at first, after titanic struggle, displaced Paulina in my affections. And I became literally obsessed with Cindy, remaining so to some extent even to this day. The only other ones that qualified for obsession status were probably Yasmeen Ghauri and Rebecca Romijn. But not to the Cindy level.
  10. I've read that Cindy's inseam was 35". True? That would give her an inseam-to-total-height ratio of 51%, which fits her general legginess. I don't know why model's inseams aren't quoted along with their height and measurements, as legginess is such a big factor in a model's appeal.
  11. She was about 16 then. Is it just me, or does it seem like the "sexier" shots that showed off her body etc. appear more in non-US magazines rather than US ones, when she was that age?
  12. Hi all. Andreea has already been posting a lot of pics from this, but in case you hadn't heard, MTV has reissued all the old House of Style episodes, with Cindy as hostess of course.. http://style.mtv.com/house-of-style/collection/ Just imagine being interviewed by The Most Beautiful Woman in the World. Who'd pay attention to what you said?
  13. Wow - I've never seen these. Beautiful! She'd have been just 19 years old at the time.
  14. No idea, but her face certainly appealed to me too!
  15. A little eye candy always makes online training courses easier to take: Of course, she's not actually an "employee", except of a modeling or casting agency.
  16. Pics like this one are the reason I thought she was the most beautiful Victoria's Secret model back then. Thanks Fuzzy!
  17. Yup, here's some video. Cindy is definitely herself - poised and confident, just not the right hairstyle yet. She'd have been what, 16, 17? Yikes. Amazed by what a teeny tiny little-girl voice Stephanie has, but I'm not sure I've ever heard her talk. Lisa Hollenbeck won that year. Not sure what kind of career she had; I've barely heard of her I think. [media=]
  18. Lovely girl. Fascinating, magnetic. But a minx. Minx, minx, minx.
  19. Cindy is usually thought of as 90's model, but wasn't she an 80's model too? First Vogue cover in '86, practically a household name by '87/'88, when Reagan was still in office. Paulina on the other hand, is more 80's than '90's. SI cover in '84, etc.
  20. Mid-90's to early 00's were the best years for VS. The pics they had back then would make a nice coffee-table book, they were so great.
