You know, I used to have kind of a lukewarm attitude towards her, but she's just too too lovely in these pool pics. Those braids are really pretty, and the color of that dress is just beautiful on her. Such a pity it had to go into the pool. Thanks; I guess I'm a new fan!

Who is this rather lush and exotic-looking girl? Maybe I'm just a sucker for "twinned" straps, as the catalog calls them.

o Cindy Crawford. Believe it or not! When she first came on the scene, I kind of resented her a little because she was displacing Paulina. Who IS this girl with the mole? But then I really started getting into her o Yasmeen Ghauri I'd see her in the VS catalog and think "her face is weird". But then later I noticed, hey she's got a really great body. Then her face started to grow on me too, and now I love her o Yamila Diaz Kind of similar story to Yasmeen.

Damn, #2 is one serious wardrobe malfunction! Much more serious than Janet Jackson's. One consolation for her, though: at least it's a very pretty one! That shade of, umm, pink goes really well with the color of her dress and hair! In #3, who is the other girl (the left one)?

no! only this more... Oh yeah! Well, I might like that one more, too. The combination of the beautiful face and the beautiful bust - stunning. I love everything about it, from the mussed hair to the shapely ear to the smile to the floral ribbon on her jogbra (if that's what is). It's probably my favorite picture of her face, and it'd be my favorite picture of her bosom too, if not for this one: I should flood The Bosom thread with pictures of Niki to show them some taste...

Does anyone know to whom this beautiful face, luscious mouth, and blonde hair belong to? The pic looks kind of 70's-ish in style. I'm pretty sure it's professional because of the lighting etc.

Does anybody else I love the big eyebrows that Cindy had in her earlier pictures? They made her face more dramatic somehow, played off well with her thick, fabulous hair, and contributed to that almost "outlaw" look that she had as a model. By "outlaw" I just mean that before her, high-fashion models were expected to be beautiful, but not firecracker-sexy like she was. She really changed the business IMO. Of course, she came out in the 80s (though everyone thinks of her as a 90s model), and that was when Madonna was sporting her bushy eyebrows and affecting fashion. Brooke Shields was that way too. That'd be an interesting research topic of fashion and social history: unplucked sex symbols through the decades.

Yes! For such a small country, it's amazing how many supermodels they pump out. Female beauty per capita among the highest in the world, if not the highest. Well, there's Holland... My fantasy would be to have a Dutch/Czech beauty battle to settle it once and for all. My affinity would be with the Dutch girls, but my money would probably have to be on the Czech girls. There are just so many famous ones.

She does; it's a repost, but here she is with her sister Danielle. (Umm, nice blouse, Cindy, but I think they meant for you to wear something under it, LOL) Shows that she can really rock a full-length skirt, in addition to any other article of clothing ever created for women to wear. Weird face and hair though - not my favorite by any means in those areas. You might think that being Cindy's sister would be the worst possible thing, but Danielle looks like she's her own person, not fazed by it. Maybe the weird look on Cindy's face helps - it prevents Danielle from being totally blown out of the photo by Cindy's mega-beauty.

You could almost call her the Laetitia of deltoids, LOL. And the wide shoulders make the waist look even narrower. I've always wondered how much of it is that she's a beautiful freak of nature vs. that she works out to get them that way. Probably both.

I've always loved her shots from this awards show. That black dress with the flowers is just beautiful on her, even though it looks like something a regular person could buy (which is just right for the People's Choice show). And those beautiful, firm breasts that look like satin! Lovely, lovely girl. I always preferred her earlier, dark-haired look I must say.

Oh. My. God. I've never seen this one until now. Thank you! What this pic really shows off (besides her lethal curves), is her incredible and unique shoulders, of a kind which no other woman seems to have. They're so extraordinarily wide, but not unfeminine or linebacker-ish at all - just beautiful. They look almost like wings sometimes! Does anybody else have this reaction to her? I never see anyone talk about this at all, but it's one of my favorite things about her.

Wow! I'll have to check that out. Who knew she was that close to being a Bond Girl! Maybe kind of glad she wasn't one, though, because it seems like at least at half the Bond Girls die. I think the Bond rules are to kill off at least one beautiful woman in every movie, in order to distress and yet titillate you in your distress. Yes, a beauty must always be sacrificed - especially if she's the villain's mistress! Anyhow, it'd be cool to see Heather dance - I don't believe I've ever seen any video of her, come to think of it.

Sure. It's not that I have anything against that; I'm all for it, and anyway, most of the top Brazilians are white (Gisele, Ale, Ana Beatriz, even Adriana is more mixed than black). When it comes to other race/ethnicity, I actually prefer Ana Paula Araujo, who is black, to any of those girls. I just don't like the style and presentation of most of the Brazilians - it's too heavy-handed for me. Heather just has so much more personality appeal for me, as does Ana. The "personality" that comes through in a photo I mean.

Sigh. I sooo much preferred Heidi as a brunette. Sorry 'bout that.

Yasmeen's "star turn" in the '95 SI swimsuit special (embedding disabled, sorry). Scene 1, she is submerged in a lagoon, and rises up out of it like a goddess, effortlessly, almost like she was doing a sit-up from underwater (supermodel abs!). Scene 2, in a clearing, very beautiful bikini top, holding bamboo stalk between thumb and forefinger, in the obligatory Scene That is Cruel to Men.
