Isabelle Adjani
Definitely one of the beauties of the age. Has anybody else had the profound erotic experience of seeing her in "Nosferatu"? I'm thinking of the climactic scene -"If a maiden pure in heart can detain him past cockcrow". Oh my God.

Vintage VS scans
My God, those scans are so good they're almost better than print! You can see every detail of Heather's lip gloss! Love the pics of her and Yasmeen - two of my biggest favorites. Thanks, Capt Bob!

Yasmeen Ghauri
- The Stretch
Ran across this 80's VS photo of Jill Goodacre awhile back, and thought of this topic: I don't think "stretch" is trashy. It underscores the fullness of the breasts, which makes it sexy.- Yasmeen Ghauri
- Cindy Crawford
- Carolyn Murphy
Does she remind anyone else of Rebecca Romijn? To me she does, quite a lot. Both California girls with sporty-looking figures, and similar wideness and shapely, almost squareness of face (though Rebecca's face is more strikingly square). Carolyn is more exotic-looking, though, especially around the eyes, and I can see how some might find her more beautiful than Rebecca. But to me, they look almost like sisters, or maybe half-sisters.- Lorri Bagley
Lovely VS picture of Lorri from mid- early-90's- Jill Goodacre
- Why do people hate Gisele Bundchen so much?
I've never much cared for Gisele, or the Brazilians generally. Gisele just looks too hawk-faced and scowly in her photos. That's just how I react to her personally; not trying to invalidate anyone else's reaction. But it might also be because she's part of the next generation after the 90's girls, and it's just like rock music: if you like 60's rock the best, in your mind you often build up a rationalization that everything that came afterward is no good.- Who possesses the finest booty?

- Joanna Rhodes
Thanks, Spiral! Not the first time she has caught my eye, without my being able to place her. Don't know why she wasn't a bigger name.- Cindy Crawford

Her face is just so beautiful - I can't believe she would be unknown. I think the year of this shot was 1989. Could it be Rebecca Romijn? She'd have been 18 yrs old at the time.- Models from the Eighties
Paulina's legs may have been a little short, but only by supermodel standards. We need bikini shots in bare feet, plus a ruler. I measure Paulina's leg-to-height ratio below at 0.47, which for her height of 5'10" gives her about a 33" inseam. That's respectable, longer than me, and her face and body are beautiful, so who cares? Cindy, though, has a ratio of 0.51, which I just find so juicy and sexy - for her height of 5'9" that's a 35" inseam. And Ashley's legs, you're right, were just crazy. SI girls don't come like that anymore.- Heather Stewart Whyte
- Angie Harmon
I've always thought that Angie deserves a lot more credit and fame, simply as a beauty. And a durable beauty too. She actually got hotter as she got older, IMO.- Jill Goodacre
Inspired by blsmn63, I've done some ravishing and plundering of my own. Several are very nice. Sorry for the raggedy layout!- Models from the Eighties
Not specifically 80's related, but everyone here seems to know the business really well, so I'll ask it here. Why is it next to impossible to find inseam measurements for models? Legginess is a huge factor in a model's attractiveness. Take two girls who are both 5' 10", for instance. Other things being equal, who's hotter: the one with a 32" inseam (like me, lol), or the one with a 35" inseam?- Cindy Crawford
What a spectacular site! Thanks for the link, jOEh!- Jill Goodacre
Much appreciated! You might want to check out Capt. Bob's topics in Gen Babe Discussion; he posts a lot of vintage VS scans, though mostly from 90's and later. Back when the WWW first started up, there were lots of tribute websites for specific supermodels, and I never could understand why there were no Jill tributes, even though her pictures were so sexy and her beauty just so intense. Maybe she was just a little too early, or maybe people's tastes just differ...- Jill Goodacre
