I have no idea of who decided to end the contract but I'm more inclined to think it was Lily who was ready to move on and if so, I think she made the right call. She doesn't need VS anymore and indeed she left on a high note. I don't even want her to walk one last show, she left at the perfect moment and I would hate for her to get the "demoted" treatment like Erin, Izabel or Selita. Her career will be just fine, Lily has made wise moves so far with her career so I think she'll be okay with out them

This. Ed never said he wouldn't cast a transgender model, he simply said the right one hasn't come along and let's not act like there's that many actually trans models with solid careers that fit VS. Val Sampaio is probably the only one and she has done castings, she just didn't make it like about 80% of the girls who attended the casting. Bigger names than her have been left out of the show and no one bats an eye. People calling Ed and VS transphobic are reaching and hard. Plus I'm not sure but does people expect VS to cast a trans model and send her down the runway with a SHE'S TRANS AND WE'RE SO INCLUSIVE sign? Last time I checked the girls who walked pregnant didn't get any sign, neither did Winnie and neither have any of the many WOC who got to use their natural hair (probably for the first time in their careers) for the VS show.

THIS x10000 times. Why do people think VS should try to appeal to everyone? They never did and they probably never will. Just let them be! If you dislike the brand then move along and find a brand that fits your needs, I don't go to Lane Bryant because their shit doesn't fit me, I'm not making a movement for them to have petite models. And quite frankly as my good sis @PastaFreak said, we can't blame Candice, Behati and VS for whatever issue people have with body image. These women make it very very clear that they work hard to have those bodies, I don't expect to wake up looking like Lais tomorrow because I don't do a quarter of the stuff she does to stay in shape, is not like the girls are out there promoting unhealthy standards saying they woke up like that, they show more than enough that they take care of themselves. Also, just because there's a lot of fat people out there doesn't mean we should normalize it and make it seem like it's okay and completely healthy to be above certain size/weight. We're all okay with girls like Iskra, Sofia Jamora and the likes doing VS but people expecting the Hunter McGrady's of the world to become the new poster child of sexiness can seriously just fuck off. If you decide not to have some healthy habits then that's on you, but don't expect the rest of the world to feel the same way and act like it's alright. And as Behati said, this a TV show ffs, why some people take it so damn seriously, it's like people asking for the Miss Universe to change their standards, like no, fuck off, it's a goddamn beauty pageant, not a Presidential election.

I need to catch up with season 5A now that it's on Netflix, Ragnar not being in the show anymore makes it so hard for me to get motivated to watch but I think season six being the last one makes sense, I think the show ending with Bjorn/Ivar makes sense

Take it or leave it, but as far as I was told she's done with VS and she's not coming back, I was told this months ago even before she announced she's pregnant. I don't even expect her to walk one last show, it would be nice but I doubt it. Her contract expired and was full-filled after last year's show

Haters can truly, fuck off, Adriana got what we all know she deserved and I couldn't be happier for her. Now let's see what the future brings! With VS out of the picture I hope she moves to a more mature line like La Perla, AP or Intimissimi, Savage would also be great but I think it's too risqué, we'll see. I'm sure Adriana currently has an insane amount of offers from lingerie and swim companies

Now, for Claud's "I have seen the VSFS and I have something to say" TED Talk Overall I actually liked the show a lot, it's probably my favorite one since 2012 so I'm confused as to why everyone is hating on it so much. Like I said before, most of the outfits were actually pretty good and the casting was okay too, I still think 60 models was too much but the good thing is that with them having so many models I was able to focus on the ones I like because they were a lot so the 20-25 I didn't like I was just like meh. I appreciate how the focus was mostly kept on the Angels, not even the nepo hoes got the extra screentime we all thought they would. If anything Barbara, Alexina, Grace and Sofie managed to get the same or more screentime than they did. Other than that, the show was focused on the angels, with the downside being that VS has so many Angels that half of them got lost in the crowd, if you're a VS fan and watch this show you'd think the only angels were Adriana, Candice, Elsa, Jasmine, Taylor, Martha and Josephine. That being said, all my girls got their fare share of screentime so I could not care less about the rest lol, but I was pretty surprised there was literally no mention of this being Bee's so-called big comeback, makes me wonder if this was it for her. I'm obviously thrilled Adriana got the farewell she deserved, not because she's my favorite model but because she really is the GOAT, it was done really well and I love how all the girls were crying and cheering for her backstage, it was just really sweet. I also like that after years they finally decided to give the FB a moment, it was short for sure but it was there and Elsa also got to close the segment so yay that, hopefully they'll keep this going. The editing was IMO way better than other years, we got less audience shots (except for the nepo moments but I'm always thankful for Abel shots so I'm at peace with that), I liked Taylor's opening alright tbh, it was better than I expected and I think the shitty music had a lot to do with her lack of energy, but it still wasn't my least favorite opening ever, it obviously wasn't the best one either but she did look stunning. The casting segment was really sweet and something we don't get to see super often so I'm on board with that, the fitness segment was the same shit we get every year but they need to promote their sports line so I'm cool with that. I do hope they bring back the Angel profiles next year tho, they were some of my fave moments back in 2006-2008. The makeup and hair this year was just great, the best one VS has done in at least a decade tbh, not a single model looked bad, obviously I think some looked better than others but that's personal taste, but everyone looked decent so that's an improvement. Now let's get to the really sad part ... The music was TRASH this year, Leela James was a mess, The Chainsmokers are trash and their "live" music is even worse and who is this Kelsea chick? Don't know her and based on this song, I never want to see her again, I was also cackling at the dude holding Lo's hand while she walked and she was trying to let go of him lol. Bebe Rexha is awful as well but at least her song fits in Pink, same for Rita Ora in Downtown. Shawn Mendes was good but I love him so that was a given, I just he hadn't been in that trainwreck of a segment but I like that he didn't try to steal the spotlight from the girls. The Struts however, I never heard them before and I'm a huge fan now, I love love love them and they fit perfectly for the show, I love that they got to perform during the finale too. Overall I give this show 7/10 tbh. I was pretty happy with it

Done watching the full show but I am currently too busy sobbing over that Adriana segment so clearly i am 100% biased right now because VS hit me in the nostalgia spot lol, Imma re-watch again tomorrow and give a non-psycho fan opinion lol. But so far so good, I'm liking the show a lot except for The Chainsmokers whose music is trash

It is tho. Does it still have the same impact it had before? Nope. But try putting a Versace show on television and no one will watch it, also just because the ranks are tanking in the US doesn't mean it's tanking worldwide. We don't really have numbers to see in other markets but at least in China they seem to be killing it. The show airs in Latam today, we'll see how it does here. It usually gets at least a couple of models trending

I don't think adding "diversity" will help the show, is not like SI's so called diversity is helping them sell more magazines or rack more views in their social media . I think the problem with VS is that they did very little promo and they haven't focused on building up their Angels. If I was VS, I'd skip the show next year and do another Angel's Across America tour, make people know and connect with their Angels, then come back with a big show for 2020 with a good budget and a solid Angels team. I think VS is also fucking up by not moving to streaming services like Hulu or Netflix, their target audience (i.e women like me in their 20's who can actually afford their $60 bras, not the teens who OMG LOVE LOVE ROMEE QUEEN YESSSS!! SARA GODDESSS!!! ELSA SKINNY LEGEND I DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! but don't have a steady paycheck) won't watch tv these days, however, put this on Netflix and I will 100% watch it the day it comes out. But making me remember to tune in and stay awake for a TV show? HARD PASS. Only GOT can make me do that. It would also make the show available to a bigger audience at the same time.

I would like to petition for The Struts to perform every single year from now on i love their music, they interacted perfectly with the models and they have a great energy.

I still have to see Flights of Fancy, Celestial, Pink and all the in-betweem segments but so far my faves are Grace and Barbara who I still think got plenty of screentime in both her segments, I was bummed they didn't show Dylan but at the same time I'm happy because it allows Barbara be her own person instead of being X person's girlfriend/daughter

So I'm watching the little segments we've gotten so far, and is it me or Miss Palvin got a lot of screentime? So far I've seen her more than Kendull, Gigi and even Behati and Candice. Watching the Mary something segment and I have a few thoughts to share - 10/10 would bang Shawn Mendes, to quote Bella Hadid "he could like ... get it" - Leomie and Duckie are e v e r y t h i n g - Alexina is now officially more annoying and irritating than Josephine - Speaking of Josephine, girlfriend looked miserable in that segment i don't even like her but I feel bad for her, the outfit was a wreck and Josephine has a great body, I'm not sure why they would cover her up like that.
