Joss Whedon comes out looking very badly out of that recent THR piece. Essentially the entire cast of Justice League hated him. Ben Affleck supposedly almost punched him and tried to convince the rest of the cast to just quit. He threatened Gal Gadot so she and Patty Jenkins had to go to the WB suits to reel in his behavior. The dude honestly sounds like he is deranged based on that piece. It's weird, I really used to like him, I liked Buffy a lot and I loved Firefly. I never thought those were made by such an abusive person. Though it did sound more like case of a guy whose success went to his head, and then some.

One of the first times they do something more creative with her and she knocks it out of the park.

Those lasts shots are amazing. They also proof that she has a whole other level to go if they are just a bit more creative with their styling and art direction in her shoots.

Elections are organized on state level. Which means it's not Joe but the state government that determines where and how many polling stations there are. In predominately black neighborhoods, there are far fewer, which is why you have the very long lines that take 4-5-6 hours in those places. It's also why I'm very dubious about those same organizers making sure there is water for the people waiting in line. Obviously they won't do that.

So basically it is illegal to offer food or drink to someone waiting in line. Considering that folks - especially in districts with large minority groups - are often times required to wait a long time (5-6 hours or longer is not unheard of) to cast their ballots, this is 100% a measure aimed at making it harder to vote. In any case, this is a measure that might be able to skew the vote their way for one or two more election cycles, but the demographic realities in Georgia are such that this is a rear-guard battle. Eventually the African-American electorate there will be so sizable it is essentially voter-suppression proof. When that moment arrives, they will not have forgotten which party made it as hard as possible for them to cast their ballots. I truly don't understand American conservatives who are happy to leave the majority of non-white voters to the Dems. There are social conservatives among black Americans, among Hispanic Americans. Yet the GOP does no effort to appeal to them, they rather try to block their votes. It's a losing electoral proposition in the long run.
