  1. I heard it's crap, but I still want to see it, mostly because I'd watch anything with Monica in it...
  2. I don't even know how to respond to this one...

  5. So you're saying you don't consider romance a part of real life?
  6. Yeah, I don't see how those two are mutually exclusive... Unless you consider only boorish jerks to be real men... Speaking of which...

There's about 100 strikers I'd prefer in my team.

A few months later I read this: My mind is officially blown. Does this mean I have magical powers and stuff? It means I need to try whatever drugs you're on. Gimme gimme gimme!

Aston Villa will win, courtesy of a Agbonlahor brace, and another goal and two assists by Young. SAF will then start to court the both of them like the dirty old man he is and he'll buy them come summer. You know, like he's done with every other young player whose ever played a decent game against them.

yes. Liverpool are ridiculous <_< Manure fans...
  11. My main problem is that if the women in here are telling the truth, somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of all women we meet would be mostly interested in kindness. I think you'll find most men will tell you their experiences about the matter are slightly different. That is all. I have no problem admitting that physical appearance is an important factor in determining if someone is a potential gf or not. It's probably the single most important thing upon first meeting someone, and then gradually becomes less important, but I doubt it ever leaves anyone's top two or three. Now, of course most people won't stay with a person who is good-looking but has a shitty personality. However, people who are quite the opposite don't even get dates! Think about it, how many attractive jerks do you know who have trouble getting dates? Now, how many sweet unattractive people do you know who couldn't get a date if it saved their life? Now, if most people didn't think looks were all that important, how can that be? Shouldn't the attractive jerks be the ones sitting at home alone and the sweet ugly people getting all the attention? Now we all know that isn't true, and that is simply because most people, both men and women, have physical attractiveness as the most or one of the most important requirements for their gf/bf. Will a nice good-looking guy be more successful than a mean good-looking guy? Sure. But both of those guys will be more popular with the opposite sex than a kind ugly guy. It's just the way we are wired. And I don't understand why so many people deny that this very important aspect is equally important to them as it is to 99% of the people out there. Trust me people. If 50% of all people wanted nothing more than kindness from their partner, the world would be a very different place indeed. Right now, we're still stuck in the phase where we'll end up with the most attractive person we can drag back to our cave. Kindness is a plus, not the our core requirement.

  13. You know people whose self-esteem was hurt by believing women weren't after kindness?
  14. How would it hurt a guy's self-esteem by taking this as a reality?
  15. Thank you, she's gorgeous!
  16. Sense of humor is overrated as well. See the quote by the Belgian stand-up comedian I posted earlier in this thread.
  17. Why would the stats affect my self-esteem? Anyway, I don't worry about the fact if a girl likes me or not, most of them make that very clear from the get-go. I don't think I've said anything shocking. "Women primarily look for money, power and physical attractiveness in a man." Oh my God, what an novel idea! No one has ever suggested something like that before!
  18. Hogwash=nonsense
  19. Margin of error for this sample in the 95% accuracy range: 10.64 Meaning that in reality, if everyone was speaking the truth in this thing, you could say with a staggering 95% accuracy that between 32% and 53% of all women preferred kindness above all other qualities in a man! Hogwash... <_<
  20. I wouldn't say they're all lying. I would say at least half of the girls who voted for kindness are simply deluding themselves into thinking kindness is most important so they can tell themselves they're not shallow. The voice of reason speaks.
  21. :yuckky: :yuckky: :yuckky:
  22. Statistics 101: when you have a large enough group of people taking part in a poll, the results won't differ all that much from reality if your test group reflects the group you want to poll accurately enough and if the test group is big enough. Even with a test group as small as this one, if we keep in mind the standard deviation, 40+% of women who list kindness as the most important factor is a load of nonsense.
  23. I never said "all women" thought like that, just 95% of them. And actually, it does mean people are lying in here. Over 40% of the people who voted list kindness as the most important thing. And the test group is substantial enough to make those results stand out as iffy. Kindness might be a valuable asset in many aspects of life, but in getting the attention and affection of a woman it's for the most part fairly useless.
  24. My conclusions are based upon several years worth of firsthand empirical test data. And pray tell, how does being a female make you more of an expert about how other women think than me? You know more about exactly one female, namely yourself. You know as much about the other three billion as I do.
  25. Reality check: 95% of women's list looks like this: 1.a Money/Power/Status 1.b Looks/Body 2. xxxxxxx 3. xxxxxxx 4. xxxxxxx ....... With the xxxxxx being a lot less important than 1.a and 1.b. No amount of self-delusion will change this simple fact of life.
