That's your opinion of course. Well of course such a comment would be entirely subjectively. I do believe VS has held onto some girls for a couple of years too long. Adriana is one of them. Heidi was another. Of course, it's not like the opinion of some random dude in Belgium matters either way. BTW, this has nothing to do with personal like or dislike of the girl. People who have been around this forum for a long-ass time will know that my original BZ moniker was actually "Limafan". My comments aren't even aimed that much at VS in general. I just believe it's rare for a spokesmodel and a company to have such a long relationship without it becoming somewhat stale and boring. I'm a big fan of Candice Swanepoel but I hope she moves on from VS sooner rather than later. I certainly don't hope that Candice is still doing the VS thing in 4-5 years from now. There are always exceptions to every rule of course, but a VSFS tenure should be in the 5-8 years range, no longer. One of the ways to reinvigorate the show is give us more new faces.

At this point, the show reminds me more and more of that kid in HS who try to act cool but doesn't realize he gets its all wrong. The scripted drama has gone from being unintentionally funny to just merely pathetic. They desperately need to return to a more basic fashion show format. It still can be more quirky and less serious than other shows, but they have gone overboard on the nudge nudge, wink wink stuff in the past 3-4 years. And I'm sorry but Adriana needs to go. I never thought I'd say this but it's become annoying to still see her amongst the rest of the girls. She had a good run and will forever be one of their icons, but it's time to move on. Both for VS and for Adriana herself.

Top five most cringe-worthy and/or ridiculous aspects of this year's VSFS: Bieber The girls having to pretend they are excited about Bieber Adriana's scripted lines that they try in vain to pass off as off the cuff answers Barbara's underwhelming walk (she looked cute but she seemed to have no confidence striding down that runway) The behind the scenes stuff from the designers (is it just me or is this taking up more of the show each year?)

Question: has the VSFS become too scripted/contrived? It seems like there is very little room left for the truly spontaneous moments that made the earlier editions (pre-2006) cute and memorable.

I'm not sure how good a job Mendes and his styling department did. Berenice is sexier in most interviews I've seen of her than she is in the actual movie...

People, just because you aren't personally offended doesn't mean that something did not cause offense. Secondly, the headdress mess is 100% on VS' hands. It displays a level of cultural insensitivity that is rather baffling for such a big company. I stated (half-jokingly) that they need a VP of common sense for their outfits, but perhaps they really should hire someone for that job.

What if the fresh faces suck at opening the show? Define "suck". I'm not talking about discarding girls after one show. I am talking about not letting a career drag until the point where there is 0% chance the model will show a side of herself the audience/fans haven't seen yet.
