Hilary looked good in spite of her two outfits being rather poor. I really wish they would play to the girl's strengths. A playful, girlish look fits someone like Barbara Palvin, but Hilary is a woman and needs more grown-up looks. Ideally they would give her the kind of outfits Karolina Kurkova used to get in her VSFS prime.

What a fugly outfit! BTW, isn't this the same head piece as the one Lais wore last year for the ballet segment? Also the way the fabric reflects the light...it looks darker...does anyone see this? It almost looks like she wet herself The design isn't terrible, it's just that the color doesn't seem to fit Candice very well...

No idea about the show, but the outfits are slightly better. There were maybe two or three that I thought looked good and were creative last year. I've already seen a lot more good ones just in the backstage pictures. Unfortunately, the crap outfits are still there as well and they've seemed to have reached a new level of campiness/silliness this year.

Okay, I think VS really needs to hire a VP of common sense to veto some of these outfits...

Love that outfit, not sure if those heels are the best match for it though.

General observation: the worst of the outfits are just as bad as last year. But on the positive side, there do seem to be a lot more really good ones as well.

The Doutzen poodle outfit is a new low.

One huge positive: both of the Candice outfits we've seen so far have looked good. Finally, finally they haven't dropped the ball on her VSFS attire.

Looks like they are finally going to give her outfit that rocks again.

She's too good for VS It's even more odd when you consider how much work she has done for VS Pink... I can only assume they think she is too similar in type to the other "pretty blondes" they already have on their roster?

So the casting video confirms that Marloes did indeed go to the VSFS casting again. That means that this is now (I think) the third year running she is not picked up after the casting. How does this happen? How can she be snubbed three times when she has both the perfect body and the perfect personality for that runway show?

I want some boobmoles!

I'm miffed that they once again are not picking up the one newbie I had really been hoping for: Marloes.

Marloes Horst at 1:39. So she did audition again, but was not picked up. I believe that's the third straight year she's been rejected... Also: "Too many girls, not enough positions." That's the polar opposite problem of the one I have.

I'm not saying that things like kindness and having a sense of humour don't matter, but those are the things that keep a couple together. When it comes to initial attraction, looks, status and manner are all far more important.

Don't understand the continued Marloes snubs. Did she pee in one of the casting directors coffee or something?

The irony of getting rid of a tattoo with that kind of message is delicious.

Yeah, I'm calling BS on the 43% who claim kindness is the key factor. You might truly believe that's what you initially look for, but in my experience it's usually a combination of looks, social status and personality that determines whether or not you are deemed an acceptable romantic partner by a girl. Kindness (or a lack thereof) might be a factor in whether or not she sticks around. I was actually quite respectful of Jessica Hart for her courage to iterate the truth and it's typical for our world to overreact to that by hating on her.
