  1. I'd love to see more of her too . She's one of the most talented and versatile in the world I think and lovely on top of that . Since they're only 5% of our general population, I don't see many that often in general life, but I've come to appreciate their work in the arts the more I see.
  2. LOL @ those title examples . Well, yeah, of course I wouldn't mind them taking an A-list spot if they could take it since they're taking their jobs on the other end. I'm surprised they didn't take cosmetic adds sooner since more women identify with celebs. On the flip side I was thinking more obscure models ironically since as with the Rosie example, the more well-known models may suffer backlash. For a lesser known like Kate Nuata who was that woman with the two guns in Transporter 2 I would assume its more of an everyone wins. People look her up and imdb and it wasn't enough to hurt her modeling if she was still doing it. If I'm watching Yeti 2: The Revenge and the guy falls for the crooked government guy's daughter and she can't act, I guess it natural for me to think, that could have been Alyssah Miller in there I guess . Actually, in the age of internet, even a brief cameo is a subliminal plug for fashion. If a valet just spends a few seconds handing Valentina her keys and she says thank you and the scene is just a few seconds the 'answers' site will already have someone with a 'Who is the woman getting into the car in The A-Team 2?' Answer, model Valentina Z the same day .

  4. :| ... I'm not sure if this one classifies, but its interresting somehow I guess .
  5. Off the top of my head, as a lover of SyFy and D-list movies, I wouldn't mind seeing more models in movies . I'm not saying to take D-list women's livelihood and even now there isn't a realistic range of everyday looks for some parts, but in light of the seemingly neverending fall of the supermodel debates, the combination of the internet and film roles is a great way for some to become more well known I think. I know height is an issue in some cases with movies in general. Oftentimes great efforts are made to downplay disparities in height that aren't intended to be an emphasis in the story. In the case of models, in Just Go With It, I noticed Brookly always wore flat footed shoes to avoid towering over the cast as she was already taller than Sandler flat footed, but I kindof would like to see more models in movies anyway. That's not to say leaving modeling unless they have Charlize or Mila level talent of course.
  6. Many have been telling me they feel BZ is less social than ever. That's ironic because we also have more posts and members than ever. To each their own of course, no pressure here, but to anyone looking for just the right platform, maybe this can be for them. I've always recommended the Chat Thread, so I figured I'd make this forum its own. Say and discuss whatever random thing that comes to your mind here .
  7. A lot of people are saying BZ is less social now. I know the previous members were more expressive as a whole. According to the stats, Babe Polls is the most popular forum aside from Fashion Models and ironically I started posting there originally only because some of the people are funny and there's pretty much no comments to my knowledge now . That said, I've always recommented this topic, but its just had a hard time competing here, so her it is .

  18. Great idea . I think this one will be interresting since so many models have very simular bodies (which is why the most unique to fashion dominated so much in that version) and a wider range of bodies are accepted in acting and though beauty not required as much, many lovely ladies anyway.
  19. I didn't post them in the Abs thread since they don't really qualify as abs per se. I like toned, somewhat toned and soft. I love toned on a woman who's actually athletic in particular. Regular toned looks the best to me at face value, but flat and soft is the most feminine to me, so I love that too. Anyway, post such here .
  20. Yeah, they are quite nice . A video
  21. That almost seems like a trick question . Of course its a joke. Most of the other versions have had less seasons and produced more models. On top of that, the premise of what they even claim to be looking for is ridiculous. They claim to be looking for a high fashion model, but are sponsored by Cover Girl and half the time they say they want high fashion and half the time they say they want someone to relate to the public. Americans don't relate to high fashion models anyway and most high fashion models start much younger than a lot of them are. If they really cared about making an American top model, they'd either just sell all out to commercial modeling totally or just have a VS or SI type model search. Its all about the drama and with there being so many more drama oriented reality shows now than when it started, I'm surprised its survived this long. Almost every group follows the same blueprint. There's the one that was called ugly in school, the single mother, the 'pretty one' that has to be lectured that 'being pretty isn't enough', the one with the bad attitude, the one whose mission in life is to see the one with the bad attitude sent home, the one who has to emphasize that the other girls don't want it as much and don't deserve to be there in every interview, the one with the health condition and the one with the secret. Put them all in a house together, give them bad makeovers (99% looking worse after said makeovers). "You have some nice long hair" "Thank you, the women in my family for the last several generations grow it as our personal symbol." "That's great. What we're going to do today is make you bald. Being a model is about sacrifices. Are you willing to sacrifice?" Next girls..."You are bald? Lets die your hair and make it stretch to your ankles." "You have long red hair? Lets cut it short and die it black." "You have midrange brown hair? Lets give you platnum blonde dreadlocks." If they survive this, lets put them all in a room with twenty pictures of Tyra and one phone and watch them fight over the phone and pretend to be surprised every time they see Tyra, yay. Most of them aren't even model height and most can't even name more than two designers and oftentimes, they have to strain their brains to even name more than two models or fashion publications when asked. On top of all that, I and anyone else can find girls who look better and more like models after walking ten minutes in any shopping mall in America and that's no exaggeration at all.
  22. I'll get caught up with the general requests, but in the mean time, the report button still doesn't work, but I answer my pms every time I login, so any report sent to my pm box will get answered . Of course, BZ has become a progressively less social site in general, but the lurkers have still always been the majority in that hundreds of people visit the site each day and there's very few conversations about anything. I have to agree with BabyJude though since I'm a member of a couple forums and I don't really comment on them even the ones my friends asked me to join . They're 'men's forums' and as much as I hate to admit this , but I think there's some merit in a women dominated forum . The reason I say that is the things that annoy me to no end over there (countdowns to 15-17 year old celebrity birthdays, ten people on the same page quoting the same giant, slow "I Came" baby gifs ect.) women wouldn't tolerate and I kindof prefer it that way .
