(I don't understand VS or the fashion industry, but the angels are just marketing) The angels are primarily a marketing tool for VS, used to promote the brand and most importantly sell products. So I can't imagine VS's marketing team really care about how good a models walk is, there more interested in how much influence a model has which has completely change with the rise of social media. Sure, in the golden era models had to get tonnes of work to be known world wide. But with social media thats changed, Lorena has 1.6 million followers, that's attractive enough to a marketing team to consider her as an angel. I imagine VS is watching very closely on how well her image is currently performing for the brand. And will make their decision based off that in the near future.

There's some influencer award show tomorrow in Munich, Her name is mentioned in the press release for it. She might be getting fitted for that. Edit: the press release mentioned she's confirmed to attend. "In addition to the most important social media personalities of the year, around 1,500 guests, including numerous VIPs, are expected to attend the ABOUT YOU Awards in the Munich Bavaria Studios. The first prominent guests are u.a. already supermodel Karolina Kurkova, Bill and Tom Kaulitz, actress Janin Ullman and Victoria's Secret Angel Lorena Rae confirmed."
