Argentina (I doubt Stormy wanted to answer that one) England or Canada to win Women's World Cup?
  5. Agree completely with both points. During this press tour, Feige has been talking about the future more than he normally does. This came from one interview: While not specific on a timeline, that's more than he normally says on future films. I thought he might stay quiet on X-Men/F4 characters for a while.

^ When Jared Harris' character described how those closest to the plant would die, it was awful enough. Then they showed it and wow. I think it was important not to skip over it, though. Part of the reason you have to show it is because it really happened to those people, and it was not their fault. Those responsible never really had to pay for their bad decisions and failings (with a couple exceptions). Clearly, radiation does horrible things to people (and all living things).

  13. I think what they are filming now is a show set a very long time before the GoT era.

  17. I was bored and the final totals are nearing for Endgame. The worldwide box office gross for Endgame is nearly even with Avatar. It may still surpass Avatar, but the two movies are virtually tied for #1. The six markets where Endgame made the most and its all-time placement in those markets: USA/Canada - #2 all-time behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens China - #3 all-time behind two Chinese language movies UK/Ireland - #5 or #7 all-time (some disagreement with the lists?) South Korea - #5 all-time (#2 English language movie) Brazil - #1 all-time Mexico - #1 all -time Also, Endgame set new records for opening weekends in too many countries to name.
  18. 100% guess, but I think yes coincidence. I say this because they didn't tell the Agents of SHIELD writers anything about Endgame so I doubt they did with JJ. Another guess, I think these characters (and all characters) have the possibility to return, but I doubt it will be with the same actors. I think this is true of the Netflix MCU and most Marvel characters recently obtained with the Fox purchase. (Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool being the most obvious exception)

I would say "the middle of the MCU pack" sounds right, and for me the middle is still quite good. I avoid deep dives into user revues, but from the little I have seen, negative reviews seem to focus on a dislike of female-led movies and a dislike of Brie Larsen before even seeing the movie. That was my impression.

Chernobyl miniseries - well made, but disturbing. I'm no expert on the disaster, but the mishandling of the situation was not new to me (by individuals and as a result of the system). One thing that i didn't remember, or never knew, was how much worse the situation could have been.
