Dolores Hawkins was one of the top models of the Fifties and was named one of the Divine Dozen in an article printed in Newsday.

Famous model from the 50's and 60's. I don't have much info on her except that she was born in 1927 in Flat River, MO and passed away in 1995 of colon cancer.

Dovima was born Dorothy Virginia Margaret Juba on December 11, 1927. She was later known as Dorothy Horan. Born in New York City, she was discovered by an editor at Vogue. Her most famous photo "Dovima with the Elephants"was taken by Richard Avedon. The gown she wore in that photo was the first evening dress designed for Christian Dior by his new assistant at that time, Yves St. Laurent. She died of liver cancer on May 3, 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Born in Preston, Maryland on Feb. 16, 1929. She started modeling in the 40's and retired in the 60's. Passed away on Jan. 22, 2002

Anne Sainte-Marie from California had the perfect, sophisticated look for fashions of the 1950s. She's probably the most model often seen in any fashion magazine of the 1950s and the early 1960s. Anne appeared in TV commercials for Revlon Cosmectics during the 1950s and she was married to photographer Tom Palumbo and had 2 sons. Anne died of lung cancer in 1986.

Barbara Mullen was another New York kid; the same age as Dovima, and - for a few short years - equally famous. But Mullen is an enigma: in nearly every picture I’d seen of her she was shot in motion (neck craned, waist bent, impossibly slender arms and hands woven into graceful arabesques), but with face angled into shadow, or turned altogether away.
