@Stormbringer I lived in Sacramento 2014 and for 7/8days straight our temps floated between 43.8 and 48.3 °C We had such bad and long lasting rolling black outs that you couldn't get the AC on for more then a hour before the grid went down, and when it went down it was down for days.... no air conditioning, no fans, and no relief from cold showers. You'd step out of the shower wet (fuck drying off), and within 10 minutes you were back to dying. I had two cats at that point, and one of them died due to the heat and my best efforts to keep them cool.

When it cooled down we were still in the mid 100's (40°C)  On top of it we were in a severe drought so utilizing the water for long periods of time to try and cool off meant you were handed fines at the end of the month plus and astronomical bill. I think I was given a 200 dollar fine... so yeah, very little water either.

Oh, that's absolute hell!! :shocking:

I've never experienced temps that awful...

What happened to the cat? :sad: One summer my cat had been outside for a long time. Me and my mom started searching for it. After a while I realized that he was sleeping in a nearby bush but had not made any noise despite how we had called his name! I carried him inside and noticed that he couldn’t really walk! But then after a bit he seemed much better. We took him to the vet just in case. I’m positive that he could have died from heatstroke if I hadn’t found him! I think animals don’t sometimes know how to regulate themselves if they are too cold or too warm. :/

Oh I love you ^^^

my kind of reading too :devil:

LaVey is I think a big joke but still a good reading

I actually enjoyed reading both books by him, slightly less the devil's notebook but the Satantic Bible was a wonderful read, Levyan Satanism has more real world application and closer meaning to where I stand if there was more of a religious/ideological belief system I would closely follow.

Still working on the Necronomicon, been too busy with movies/tv shows lately.

:rofl: Just started Christmas shopping for NEXT year.  @ILUVAdrianaLima @Stormbringer @Limerlight  so there is zero excuse for waiting till last minute boys. :beating:A present or two a month (even if it's only worth a couple of dollars) and then you don't have to worry about it.

SO SOON??? :chicken:

But hey, I didn't wait till last minute. Unlike previous years I got my last present on the 23 instead of the 24 in the morning :whistle:

^ I literally think she would pick better presents for our fam then we could :laugh:

Depends on the year, and who is in my life at the time.  If I'm shopping online for myself and I see something I know they will enjoy I pick it up regardless of the time of year. Last thing I want during the Holiday is to be stressed out and rushing to get things done last minute, plus it feels so good to be in the middle of Sep/Oct and know 80% of your shopping is done. I already have my tree theme for next year. White, Blues and Silver so I'll start getting my wrapping paper and decorations in July/August.

The one thing I do is ask the people in my life to give me a wish list by the end of Feb (at all price points). I like getting people things they want. Guessing games are messy and lead to disappointment for them, and myself :sad:

I've already asked people to give me their wish list for next year, and I've given out mine (which is awesome btw).

@Limerlight

Psst!!!! Tis the list minus the dead things I showed you.
