So you're just going to ignore the long and stories history of beautiful women hooking up with ugly, mega rich guys?

There's a reason she's on a yacht with a shady art dealer who was pardoned by Trump in the moments before he left the White House, and it's not because they're just friends.

What is ugly? It’s subjective. You’re jumping to conclusions and making again, sexist statements about someone you don’t know at all and you’re only basing that on… photo’s of an adult hanging out with another adult? Interesting! So would you jump to the same conclusions and have the same opinion if you saw a young guy with a rich old lady on a yacht?

Edit: I’m not rooting for her to spend time with shady people btw, just making that clear. What is disgusting though is the automatic assumption she MUST be sleeping with him only because she’s seen tanning on a boat. I see not much has changed over here since sexism is still alive and well on BZ! I better watch out next time I’m on a yacht with friends and make sure not be photographed with an older man in the background because oh no, I’m probably sleeping with him according to all the online experts.

For the record: Yes.

I find that hard to believe. So if we have to follow BZ logic, since being spotted on a yacht with an older man/woman automatically means you’re sleeping with them, then why not go ahead and ask her this if/when y’all get to meet your favorite model? I HIGHLY doubt one of you would have the guts to say some of the things you say in here to her face. So much so for being a fan. I’d say her career is what matters here, not who she’s sleeping/not sleeping with. I don’t condone hanging out with shady people, but she’s a big girl and I’m sure she knows how to take care of herself just fine, regardless of whatever it is she’s doing in her private life.

I know you do. You never agree with anyone here. Not expecting you to start now.

As far as I know I still have the right to decide what I believe or don’t believe in. But right… For a second I forgot that being a member means you must agree with whatever the popular members say and if not then you’re the odd one who gets harassed for having an opinion. Literally nothing has changed here lol, and then y’all still wonder why BZ has the reputation it has. If I remember correctly she’s known to come in here and read her topic so. I truly feel for her! Must suck having fans who think they know her private life better than she does and then have the nerve to school others on it as well.

You're right, it doesn't automatically mean she's screwing the guy, but odds are pretty good considering the long and storied history or gorgeous women/yachts/wealthy men.

Also just want to point out there are different levels of wealth. Candice, at best, is a millionaire. That guy, unless he lost most/all of his money due to the legal issues he's had, is a billionaire and that is a BIG difference.

And, not to sound too sexist here, but most of these models will struggle to make money than their looks/bodies begin to deteriorate. Tropic of C is one way for Candice to continue to make money long after modeling days are over but she's no Kathy Ireland with regards to her businesses.

“Not to sound too sexist” yet proceeds making a sexist comment lol. Today I learned that Candice’s “fans” are both experts on her (sex) life and are also her financial advisors who know what she does or doesn’t do regarding her money. What’s next?

How can you get upset about people making assumptions and then write half of this bullshit? You just claimed you knew what another member thinks, despite them saying the opposite, with zero irony.

No one knows what Candice is doing  in these photos, but they sure as hell have the hallmark of a yacht girl, a term you very clearly need to Google. Hell, I hope she’s at least being paid to be on the yacht, even if nothing else is involved, since at least then there’s sort of a good reason for her to be hanging with this guy.

If I see a topless woman swinging around a pole, I’m going to go ahead and assume she’s a stripper. That’s not sexism; it’s experience. If she just happens to be a nudist gymnast, I’ll have no issue apologizing for my mistake.

Candice is very beautiful and elegant. Nobody looks as good as her, plus she does it without any effort. That dress only she is able to wear properly. She adapts, she transforms with each different dress and makeup, she is an exceptional model.

Again, it’s hilarious for you to be calling what I said “bullshit” but apparently you calling someone a yacht girl, stripper, whatever really is all fine and totally normal because of “experience”? So being sexist is considered normal and better than oh I don’t know, simply not making assumptions and not spewing wild theories around? How would you like it if people went ahead and called you all sorts of things that aren’t true, JUST from seeing a photo? If we have to follow this BZ “logic” then if someone saw you on a yacht with older people (regardless of their gender) you’d be sleeping with them as well, correct? But like I’ve said, if one of you ever gets the chance to meet her face to face then go ahead and say these things to her face, see how that works out for you.

I love that everyone who agreed when someone said she would be sleeping with a guy because of money has "male" under their pictures.

Let me speak from a woman's point of view: it's sexist, and A LOT, to assume and say it about a person.

Funny that no one raised the possibility of Ali being the one interested in the money. I don't even have to wonder why.

this thread has had plenty of talk about her career/sex life/personal life/family life over the years

while I agree I'd like it to focus more on just her career, many times they connect and can't escape the other stuff

so so true

Pointing out that yacht girls at Cannes are a thing isn’t sexist. The existence of yacht girls is deeply rooted in misogyny and sexism, but acknowledging reality isn’t sexist.

(Neither is pointing out that models lose work as they age—the same is true for women in Hollywood. Them losing work is absolutely sexist; saying it happens isn’t. Maybe that’s a bit nuanced for this one-trick pony.)

I have no idea if Candice is being paid to be there, and neither do you. I have no idea what her relationship is with this guy, and neither do you. That said, she’s a single model on a boat that, by your own admission, she doesn’t “need” to be on given her wealth, at Cannes, with a known rich scumbag. It’s not outrageous to think she might not be there for his personality.

Candice is an awesome model with a lot of experience. She is in Cannes for strictly professional reasons. Those of us who have known her for many years know how she is, a great professional and an exceptional woman. She is not a woman who likes luxury especially. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life. She has nothing to do with the glamor of those spheres where she knows how to move like a fish in water. She now enjoys the company of her children who are what she now focuses on her main motivation. The banal discussions about her stay on yachts do not interest me at all.

Ah right, I just have to get “over it” that women get called certain names because… they were seen in a photo with someone that happens to be of the other gender, and because of that women  automatically get judged. Sounds fair! Like I’ve said, go ahead and call her all these sexist names to her face and see how that works out. Or perhaps someone should just send her some photo’s of what some of her so called fans are chatting about and automatically assuming about her only because they’ve seen her in a bikini relaxing on a boat lol. It’s easy to hide behind a screen and say shit like this, but I truly don’t believe for one second any of you who automatically jumped to “she must be sleeping with him” conclusion would say this to her in real life.

Please quote what "names" I've called her. Or other people have called her, we'll wait.

Honestly, you're working yourself up over a lot of nothing.

I am a proud supporter of the #metoo and "times up" movements and when there is legitimate gripes and sexist stuff happening I'll always stand up for women but I don't see anyone here being sexist.

You are literally making mountains out of mole hills.

I have not, and I haven't seen others call Candice any names. I even referenced in my post you quote that nobody here is calling her something like "slut" or "escort"

I mean, did you even bother to read what I wrote?

One person brought up the term "yacht girl" and they weren't even necessarily saying Candice is one, they just referenced it so people can familiarize themselves with what goes on around Cannes Film Festival.

You seriously need to chill out.
