As far as currently working storytelling comics go, I think he's probably the best (if there are any others, I'm all ears). Better than Segura, Muleny, and Jefferies. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5VVhsKwTPJ35WMJL5V1VrQ Patton is the high school class clown who’s also the A/V geek-nerd who transitioned into full time entertainment to me. He also reminds me of Cosby, Pryor, and Carlin at their peak.

I haven't finished all 5 albums yet but so far there is a light tinge of cynicism/depression/wonder in his unusual take of his funny stories. Overall, a unique and memorable style what's your favorite pryor and cosby material? Cosby's albums are all on youtube btw. With pryor he is a great performer however so far his content (highly racial) isn't my thing. I want to learn more about Pryor though because he is such a legend. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Pryor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Cosby
September 22, 20195 yr With Patton, it’s mainly a feeling I get. Some things are the way he talks about them in interviews. I don't have favorite materials from the others. Sometimes it’s the whole routine or album. Though Cosby’s take on childbirth is always funny. Pryor, you should put the era’s culture in mind when listening.

September 24, 20195 yr We have a lot to learn from Firenze. It's a great city, with a great history and they tested a lot of political systems. Savonarola's system was one of the worst. He used children as police patrols. Scary system, let's not forget that. https://www.thoughtco.com/girolamo-savonarola-1452-1498-1221250

I'm not a climate change denier, but the massive money that has been made off of climate change for the last 50 years has been ridiculous with false narratives is crap. The mass hysteria and indoctrination of kids to young adults is alarming. Politicians should defer to unbiased climate scientists for information then make policies. Right now politicians that are preaching about climate change want power. Look up and read about the climate strike manifesto, let me save you some time it's bullshit. People don't read and look into anything anymore, just because it sounds good on the surface doesn't mean they won't put in climate change reparations for example.

There are tons of very profitable and efficient investment to be made for the environment, if done rationally. On top of the environment, there is the question of the scarcity of fossil fuels (more and more critical) and for my country (that has no fossil fuel ressource), not burning fossil fuel makes us less reliant on unstable countries. Now, it should be done rationally. Look at solar panels: their price has been divided by 4 in the past 10 years, they are more and more competitive, but they should be installed in places where it makes sense: south of France, Italy, Spain (not Germany or the UK!) Hydro or wind power plants are also great investments if done in the right places. 13 minutes ago, Stromboli1 said: Right now politicians that are preaching about climate change want power. Of course they are, they don't know what they talk about. They're just cult preachers, BUT it's not because idiots defend the environment that it's a silly idea. It's a very important idea IMHO. Not just defending the climate, there are lots of other work to do. Look at these plastic continents or the diseases that rogue industries spread with chemical products.

If climate change is such an existential threat what did Barry O buy a coastal property in Maine for $15M? I think nuclear energy is more economically viable at this time until the solar technology becomes more advanced. We will probably need to extract minerals for solar batteries using fossil fuels. There will be transitional pains. Also people don't need to suffer either economically because solar is going to be massively expensive. 35 minutes ago, Enrico_sw said: Of course they are, they don't know what they talk about. September 25, 20195 yr Mattel launches ‘gender neutral’ Barbie doll https://nypost.com/2019/09/25/mattel-launches-gender-neutral-barbie-doll/ This world is a JOKE. This is really a clown world. PC pundits and their goons hate difference, they're the real sexists who want a world with clones, androgynous dummies. Crazy dystopia at work again.

September 25, 20195 yr 21 hours ago, Stromboli1 said: I guess I'm contrarian by nature No worries, it means that you have critical thinking. That's becoming rarer these days 20 hours ago, Stromboli1 said: I think nuclear energy is more economically viable at this time until the solar technology becomes more advanced. Nuclear is a very competitive source of energy and it's a great technology against CO2 (when Germany closed all their nuke plants, their CO2 emissions skyrocketted, because they used coal instead)... ... but solar panels are very competitive in areas with a lot of sun, like Spain, Australia or Chile (production costs can be below 30 $/MWh, which is very cheap). Sure, they generate additional costs on the grid due to the intermittency, but a fair share of solar on a power grid (and in places with a lot of sun exposure) is often economical. 21 hours ago, Stromboli1 said: We will probably need to extract minerals for solar batteries using fossil fuels. Solar panels are mostly made out of silicon which is one of the most abundant element in the earth's crust (usually in the form of SiO2, aka silica, which is what most sands are made of). The fossil fuels used to extract and transport all these materials are minimal (and the carbon footprint is usually very small). If tou talk about batteries (storage), yes there's an issue of raw materials, but you don't need batteries for solar panels that are connected to a grid. 21 hours ago, Stromboli1 said: There will be transitional pains. Not really, you don't have to switch massively from one thing to another. A power system should be a balance of different types of energies (which should include nuke, hydro, solar, wind, and a little bit of natural gas - depending on the place, country and ressources available) 21 hours ago, Stromboli1 said: Also people don't need to suffer either economically because solar is going to be massively expensive. Solar was expensive twenty years ago, not now. The prices have dropped significantly.
