September 8, 20195 yr ANTIFA doing ANTIFA things! Some background on Daryl Davis. Spoiler A chance encounter with members of the Ku Klux Klan led black musician Daryl Davis on a quest to determine the source of the hate. His unorthodox, yet simple approach, has wielded surprising results and just might be the solution for all racial discourse. Daryl Davis graduated from Howard University with a degree in Jazz. As a pianist, vocalist, and guitarist, he performs nationally and internationally with The Daryl Davis Band. He has also worked with such notables as Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley’s Jordanaires, The Legendary Blues Band, and many others. In 1983, A chance occurrence after one of his performances led him to befriend a member of the Ku Klux Klan. This eventually led Daryl to become the first black author to travel the country interviewing KKK leaders and members, all detailed in his book, Klan-Destine Relationships. Today, Daryl owns numerous Klan robes and hoods, given to him by active members who became his friends and renounced the organization. Since his journey began, Davis has joined an all-white country band, attended KKK rallies, and accepted a “certificate of friendship” from the Traditionalist American Knights of the KKK. He’s even the godfather of former Klan Imperial Wizard Roger Kelly’s granddaughter. Davis has received the Elliott-Black and MLK awards as well as numerous other local and national awards for his work in race relations, and is often sought by media outlets as a consultant on the KKK and race relations. He is also an actor with stage and screen credits, appearing in the critically acclaimed HBO police drama, The Wire, and most recently, as the subject of the documentary Accidental Courtesy, which filmed his real life encounters with Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazi leaders as he helps to dismantle racism across the United States. September 13, 20195 yr The matriarchy at work? Mwahahaha https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ms-monopoly-hasbro-launches-new-board-game-that-gives-more-money-to-women-players-than-men/ #get-woke-go-broke
September 15, 20195 yr Looking at this list again: They put Pryor at 1, Carlin at 2... but Lenny Bruce, Louis CK, Chris Rock ahead of Bill Cosby, who is at 8.. Methink it's mainly due to the rape scandal. https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-lists/50-best-stand-up-comics-of-all-time-126359/jerry-seinfeld-7-191789/ Jerry Seinfeld himself considers Cosby #1.
September 15, 20195 yr I do too. Before all his abuses came to light, he was a great family comedian. He influenced so many others.

PLEASE! I know luck is involved in Monopoly, but they're handicapping girls. Just like in the real world guys will identify as girls to get those advantages.

Yeah, he's up there with Pryor and Carlin as being a revolutionary influence. After his stand up, Cosby was an icon of the 1980s and in the 1990s the Cosby show was on TV all the time. Before that there was the successful Fat Albert show and after that, there were the Cosby show spin offs. Seinfeld/Joan Rivers are great too but I don't think they were as big as Cosby. He might be objectively #1 on this list. I don't really get how Louis CK is always considered a top 10 comedian. He's a great performer but his content isn't good.

The consensus that I've seen was Cosby, Pryor, and Carlin as the top 3 in interchangeable order.

These companies (like Netflix, Gillette or Hasbro) are trying to ride the PC waves, hoping that it will bring customers. The marketing ppl convinced their boss to ride the waves, but it's not logic that drives them. They don't realize that the PC waves are from a sea of sophisms... So, they can't see that "reverse sexism is sexism", they're just too busy admiring how "virtuous" and "morally gooood" they are. Since "thinking" isn't their "forte", the best thing that can happen to them now is "Get woke, go broke".
September 15, 20195 yr @Stromboli1 ^ Have you seen how these brands don't allow comments under their videos now? Since the Gillette backlash (where they deleted comments and bad reviews under their youtube video ), brands don't want to hear ppl's reactions, because they're afraid that they will disagree. PC people are so afraid of other people's opinion, that they want to shut them down... The self-proclaimed tolerant world doesn't tolerate debate and opinions

Also they must be blind to hypocrisy and double standards.
