SchtoopingHer Posted July 12, 2005 Share Posted July 12, 2005 See, if you ask me, the twist at the end of POA (in the shrieking shack) trumps every other scene in the series of books (arguably with the exception of maybe the GOF ending)Cause there was so much we didnt know until that scene, and the way it was divulged, I thought it was pure genius. That combined with patronus, and the time-turner, I thought it was brilliant.But hey, to each his own.If you ask me, the more I reflect upon it, the more I think OOTP was filler.yeah sirius died, and there were some important things, but if anything, i feel that book was the one where nothing happened. It was extremely well-written (in my opinion, better than the rest), but that doesnt make up for the lack of focus in the narrative.And come on, the "prophecy" was about as unexpected as a baby nine months after getting pregnant.
