I wish they'd just drop the content on a given date like SI.

This is the way they've released stuff the last couple years, so I'd be surprised if that's changed.

 

On the bright side, it is the gift that keeps on giving

Oh I know it's routine, I just hate it and think it is bad. It's hard to build and impossible sustain anticipation for a bunch of unannounced, scattered dates. To use the gift metaphor, it's like replacing the concept of Christmas morning with... nothing.
