From the start... again.

Just finished S3.

Taboo is a good show (good acting, interesting plot, interesting props, directing ) but there isn't much tension because Tom Hardy's character is basically a superman who gets through his obstacles with relative ease.  High Sparrow is not strong enough of an opponent.  But the show is quite fresh and covers an unusual topic.

 

Hardy's acting is very good and the show feels more like an excuse to showcase his acting skills.  He gets a lot of screentime.

 

  

I'm not sure if I will try The Gifted.

 

One review said it's better than Inhumans but not as good as Legion. Thanks, that was helpful.
