October 31, 20195 yr @CandleVixen what do you think of Rita Rudner and Kathleen Madigan? I finished one album from each. They're both great comedic storytellers. Rita has a particularly lovely voice and Kathleen talks like a stereotypical tough lady https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8IgCozO7g58Xrg7U2yJ_tQ/playlists?view=50&sort=dd&shelf_id=3579731707244514301

Kind of old fashioned. I'm going run through Kathleen's material later. I listened to two of Paul Mooney's (richard pyror's writer) specials. He may be the continuation of Richard Pryor. The first mooney experience knocked me sideways. It's vicious and very funny. Terrific delivery and timing. He's very racist and in the topsy-turvy way, in that in his world, white people are insane sub-human freaks! However, he's very old and his last special was in 2012. His specials have a 1990s/2000s focus. a little nudity: Spoiler
